kemche #12671, I did pop over to LSE and I see what you mean. They appear not to fully understand the situation at Mount Mason and Mount Ida. But never mind as Mount Mason will run for about three years but still needs aboriginal approval and funding. So if the iron ore price stays firm Mount Ida could be producing somewhere between 2028 and 2035. I guess AB is looking for an out of the remaining royalties should a cash upfront offer ever be on the table that cant be refused.

AB accepts the world of compromise in DRC and that Gecamines is a giant government-owned company and therefore will just act as a mediator between VUP S A, RRR, and Kamoto. As Gecamines made $230 million from the Musonoi Area 1 finalised transaction to Kamoto they most probably gave an interest in something to RRR. Thus we hope everyone in the playground is friends again.

What we do know is there are multiple parties involved who owe Red Rock cash so it is no surprise that the Nomad needs to check the upcoming announcement carefully.


In summary....

VUP (RRR's former partner) have been ordered to pay Red Rock $4.5m by the courts.
Gecamines purportedly owe Red Rock $7.5m

A major mining company needs to compensate Red Rock for the loss of licence which Mr Andrew Bell has said was worth $100m+

In all a complicated mix but Mr Bell said he would not return from the Congo until a satisfactory outcome is reached, well he HAS returned !

Red Rock is currently valued at £6m

Most AIM companies are leaky, the share price strength at Red Rock tells a story.

Had markets been more receptive/positive the share price would be far higher, the Congo transaction could be many multiples of Red Rock's current valuation.

Looking at Andrew_Bell2019 come Twitter account it looks very biased and AB is out to win £280.00 at all costs. Of course, the present Prime Minister remains Boris. None of the others look like wartime Prime Ministers which is a deep concern to me - might be better if whoever wins brings back Boris as 'Minister for Ukraine'.

What we do know is Mr Bell had to abort his return to the UK 13 times, his recent comment on Twitter suggesting there would be no need to return to the Congo implies that there could be a very beneficial outcome for Red Rock shareholders.

0.8p - 0.9p is still my target price though higher if the tenement award looks good. It could be that AB suddenly becomes a shining star and Red Rock among small miners as a lead representative style of company upfronting Gecamines. Gecamines have lost their shine, especially over the US$400 million that disappeared. In that case, a move to 1.2p - 1.6p is not out of the question.

Guess a RNS could come at anytime during the day, the CEO seemed upbeat in the last Proactive interview suggesting he had achieved his objective in the Congo.

The stakes are high but the market seems to be suggesting the news will be good.
