24/1/2018 13:20 | so how will he do that other than selling a his stake on or sell his stake to the company discounts are rife in the sector and the recent debacle at PCA shows how smaller shareholders kicked into touch one annoucement | ntv
24/1/2018 10:00 | NTV, I think Paul Bassi's mind will be focussed in due course, when he looks to wind down, and release his equity. May be 2-3 years away, but he will want a full price when he goes. | tiltonboy
24/1/2018 09:01 | all management must be happy where share are trading or they would by them back for cancellation look at the discount on LAND and BLND they still get paid whatever the share price so why should they care. they just tell you they manage/own billions of pounds of assets and we are in the FTSE100 | ntv
23/1/2018 19:15 | NTV, This one looks to me like its well underperformed the peer group the last 12 months. Even the FTSE behemoths like BLND and LAND have outperformed RLE and they are heavily exposed to the (overvalued?) London market. The likes of CREI,MCKS and EPIC are close to their highs. I'd have hoped RLE's focus on Birmingham/Midlands area would have been a positive but certainly not reflected in the share price. | hugepants
23/1/2018 15:59 | HP whole sector has been poor for the last 18 months it needs a few big sales above book to liven things up a bit don't know when that is going to happen it must be one of the worse performing sectors over that time period | ntv
23/1/2018 09:46 | Looking at the rest of this sector it's surprising how poorly this has performed share price wise. And the results have been good. Seems to be off the radar a bit. | hugepants
21/1/2018 19:18 | the whole sector has underperformed really quite badly this last 12 months certainly in my portfolio. have taken a rather big whack on PCA i have to say there are some good yields around for those who choose this sector for income only i fumbled around BL at around 600 taking small amounts and LAND as well only to miss the larger jumps the rest of the portfolio has done quite well and a shock on the dividend front on a share that i thought would take a while to do something now spectra is an important part of my income portfolio unless there is huge jump in the price | ntv
21/1/2018 14:23 | In the sector I hold: EPIC, HCFT, LSR, RECI (Property Debt play), RGL & RLE IMO the best value amongst the many high income regional propcos are: # Regional REIT (RGL) At 102p Yld of 7.7%; NAV discount of 2.3% # Real Estate Investors (RLE) - At 56p Yld of 5.36%; NAV discount of 17.2% (Historic to 30/06/17) EDISON Update on RGL – Jan’18: | skyship
21/1/2018 14:17 | Yes, but still seriously rankles - a good profit almost disappeared in a puff of smoke due to verging on criminal pre-emption! Sorry, personally not keen on PNS or DJAN. # The former has a pretty poor record; and you can read his bizarre Chairman's Reports without having to hold the stock # The latter has been a VALUE trap ever since I can remember - certainly back into the early 70s! The problem is that the family control c85%; and their agenda is totally different to that of the rump outside shareholders. Strewth, they pay the directors more than they pay outsiders in dividends. A 1.7% yield covered 10x. Directors prefer the income accrues in the Company as they are in effect managing their personal pension fund. The NAV discount over the years has traded in the wide range of 20%-60%. Currently at 40%. If you get lucky these can be traded; but don't hold as a long-term investment - the yield screws you... | skyship
21/1/2018 13:45 | SKYSHIP you did well to get out of PCA when you did | ntv
21/1/2018 13:44 | though have to say PURP is rather underwater at the moment but only a small position | ntv
21/1/2018 13:42 | SKYSHIP / hastings i hold 3 property companies in the portfolio at the monent they are RLE PNS PCA and also have long position in DJAN so to cover these i currently hold a short position in PURP also trade CAL | ntv
21/1/2018 13:00 | hastings - thnx - hopefully that 68.5p will prove rather too conservative... | skyship
21/1/2018 12:39 | 68.5p - 71.4p but, upside potential on the latter.. 2019 currently 74.5p. | hastings
21/1/2018 12:05 | Hastings - thnx for yr 420 above. Might I ask what Liberum have pencilled in for the 12/17 & 12/18 NAVs? | skyship
21/1/2018 11:48 | i agree with you hastings,i personally think on current growth that 3.2p is to low but i would be happy with that | ntv
21/1/2018 11:46 | hhmm, they seem to base the next years dividend on the final q dividend payment so we should see soon enough. i don't mind growing dividends as long as they don't put pressure on the balance it would be nice to see an increase in cover | ntv
21/1/2018 10:20 | Div for next year forecast to move to 3.2p followed by 3.4p according to the last Liberum note. That could however prove to be on the conservative side. Also added last week. | hastings
21/1/2018 09:57 | hopefully a positive update in about a weeks time maybe some news on the final dividend and maybe a hint a the dividend for next year | ntv
17/1/2018 14:58 | thought you got some at 50p last time so you can't really complain TB !! | ntv
16/1/2018 16:08 | bet TB can get them at a better price. wish company would use the chance to buy the seller out completely always helps nett asset value if not the gearing | ntv
16/1/2018 15:09 | Bizarre spread - 50p-56p! | skyship
16/1/2018 14:59 | MM's still want 55.9p. | eeza |
