Shaun Doak and his management team are very ambitious. They will no doubt grow React Group massively over the next several years:

questions put to Shaun (last year)

What is your business looking to achieve?

We aim to be the go to and best in class specialist cleaning and decontamination business within the United Kingdom. React will continue to push the boundaries of methodology and set benchmark standards for the specialist cleaning sector. Despite our modest size, we have very strong customer advocacies which we aim to leverage further as we strengthen our brand and customer base.

Ultimately, we want the REACT brand to be synonymous with sector leading quality and expertise.

What plans do you have for REACT over the next two years?

We aim to continue strengthening the sales and marketing function to scale the business through organic growth and carefully selected M&A. Our focus will remain on markets where REACT have clear differentiation, so that we strengthen customer relationships and secure reoccurring revenue streams.

Nobody could ever prove they got covid from venue X because it wasn't deep cleaned by specialists - that's a red herring in another world. After cleaning a load of people come in with all sorts of germs - they will be the transmitters.

The reality is that when its threat has decreased sufficiently (not zero), things will open up. There will be in-house cleaning, possibly a bit more than previously.

Meanwhile on 200K profit, the current price gives a p/e around 37.

Yes, its all about the future and imo some pretty good growth next year is priced in, so the outlook statement is pretty crucial. Needs a few more biggish contracts I think.

I doubt anyone who refuses a vaccination will be able to sue successfully. As it's their own fault for not taking the vaccine. Insurance companies love to find ways to not pay.

Let's see what they say, outlook, confirmation of new customers, new contracts.

That is totally wrong, an economy opening up with a virus still at bay offers more cleaning opportunities, you are speaking as if the vaccine works 100% when it fact it's about 70% after 2 shots of the astra zeneca one.

You then have at least 20% of the population who won't take it. Co-vid unfortunately is here for the next couple of years minimum, that is fact. To open the economy we need an army of people disinfecting high streets, banks, playparks, stadiums etc and only takes a couple lawsuits against in -house cleaning for it to be standard for it to be contracted out to specialist cleaning companies. This is what React need, large companies who want to deal with one company for all their cleaning requirements so if the management are up to it, there will be enough work out there to grow the company substantially.

Cleaning market size will increase but the point, a year on from the start of the pandemic, other companies have entered the market, there's a better understanding of covid (than a yr ago), vaccination being rolled.

People working at home during lockdown, so offices closed, lower demand for office cleaning. Once all adults offered vaccination by Sept(according to govn) then lower demand for covid cleaning.

Momentum in FirstResponseCleaning (Covid work) in December and January must be very strong due to the significantly high number of Covid cases.

Q1 for year ending September 2021 now completed and momentum going in to Q2 is very strong.

With full year results tomorrow and the company on the look out for acquisitions i believe 2021 will be a BIG year for REAT.

I think its 100% certain the cleaning market will increase once the economy opens up, everyone has said we are stuck with covid for the long term as it stands at the moment. With so much of the economy closed, I'm not expecting anything great tomorrow but I've invested here because I can see the huge potential for a well run company to mop up in the future environment.

I think the main points would be whether they have increased cash substantially, ex the placing £1.16m raised in the placing.
Whether they have gained new customers.

Also how dependent they are on covid? What % of their income is reliant on Covid deep cleaning? I think demand for covid deep cleaning will decrease, especially as vaccines rolled out, life gets back to normal and other players enter the market.

I have the following forecasts for the results tomorrow:
Revenue: £4,400k
PTP: £185k
Net cash: £1,750k

The first and third of these figures are already in the public domain (to the nearest £100k) from the last trading statement. The profit depends critically on the gross margin achieved, where I am hoping to see a continuation of the strongly favourable trend seen over the last four half year periods. My model has a 36.0% gross margin assumption for H2, versus 33.2% achieved in H1.

Seriously you need to cool down, or you will make an emotional decision about your shares and that never turns out well.
