This will shut up people regarding California production, about 700bopd in November, selling at premium brent prices.

700bopd doesnt include new wells coming online.

Love or hate Dan he has some good sources regarding West Newton so probably true, hopefully RNS on EWT to follow.

50% below placing price currently will not take much to get back and beyond.

"Hopefully you miss your chance to buy in, EWT will land sooner than people think."

I was expecting the equipment for EWT to have started getting shipped to site several weeks ago and to have started the testing by now... But then again I've not being getting a salary paid into my bank account for just lounging in a comfy leather executive chair whistling dixie..

Ant and Dec need to firm up timelines, doing a nice horizontal bar chart and putting everything at the end of Q1 isnt fooling anyone. In saying that I am close to buying back in as end of Feb was my timeline. But buy in small parts as i dont want to get stuck in if they skip the EWT till the next drill.

0.60 looks a good entry point, giving 50% upside to the 0.9 placing level.

It looks like the company's flunkies(nomads, pr/ir) are out in force today ticking up posts that is sycophantic to the company, and acceptance of the with-held asset activity...

Uggy a calculated risk.

Success is more likely than failure at this point just a case of how big is it imo, S&S are smart guys and they have ii backing who have paid huge sums of money all the way upto 1.1p

They raised a large sum at 0.9p and increased exposure to a great asset medium term it is a great deal short term always gonna get people moaning.

I don't get the theoretical value at this stage. There is substantial risk involved with WN as a result of the chuckle brothers monstrous raising, we need the EWT to be a success to justify their strategy , for all LTH's to benefit. I have reached the conclusion that they have put their ego's before our interests.

"But it's hypocritical to tell people to be patient when there is calls for updates and for activity to get started, but different when it comes to posting up 'rumours' of activity that is long overdue."

This isn't English and it doesn't make sense either! RNS's aren't like slagging a restaurant off because the meal was late for heaven's sake. We can't 'call' for updates just because we're fed up of waiting. AND I know, we now all fed up - but that's the thing you see. Waiting is what the LTH does. It f##king hard and full of doubt, but if you believe in the company's fundamentals as I do then just shut up and do the wait.

A clever post the other day - either here or LSE or twitter even: 'Waiting is bitter but it's fruits are sweet'.

A share price of 10p ( you said between 9 and 12 ) would equate to a market cap of 600M in 3 to 5 years. Not to mention the exercise of warrants or director options.A market cap of 600M would equate to a 5000 bopd production. That would equate to 10 wells or more producting 500 bopd without factoring in decline rates. Is it possible ? I would never say not impossible, however there has been no production on WN and we do not know the potential for flow rates etc untill we leave a well on production for longer than 6 hours or 24 hours or 1 month. The planning delayes in UK are exhaustive.So1. Will there be another fundraising 2. Will there be a consolidation 3. Why list on AIM ( laxed regulations ) and not on the main market4. Who is selling. It's clearly institutional investors and why at .65p when placing was done at .9pTime will tell but my experience on the AIM market with oilers is spikes are short lived and long term production is rare but not impossible. It takes a long time to get a full field development plan into action ie production, even when all is going to plan.Lets see !

"EWT to start in next few weeks.(Rumoured)"

There's been rumours for weeks, which is only natural because of the long delay and not much in way of updates, without any activity...

But it's hypocritical to tell people to be patient when there is calls for updates and for activity to get started, but different when it comes to posting up 'rumours' of activity that is long overdue.

EWT to start in next few weeks. (Rumoured)

UJO 16.6% West Newton 0.15p placing - shareprice 0.16p 7.5% premium to placing.
RBD 39% West Newton 0.9p placing - shareprice 0.65p 40% discount to placing.

Big catchup by Reabold at some point, 40% move just to meet placing price.

Added recently to my position ... agree with #6467. The whole o&g sector is down at the moment yet things carry on the best they might ... TXP has had some very good news recently and their share price has been rewarded ... our time will come.
