I think RAVP will be fine, I think it'll continue paying out its divi as it's always done, through thick & thin.

But there's a non-negligible chance of turkey syndrome. The farmer feeds you 364 days a year, you trust him, then on Xmas Eve he kills you.

If Putin does plan to kick off - something no one but he really knows - there's a chance of Xmas for RAVP holders.

For me, that was reason enough to take profits yesterday and today. The divi's been a bonus along the way.

Good luck holders - but for me at least, Russia has become uninvestable. If/when that ceases to be the case, I reckon Gazprom might be up there on the list, along with RAVP.

Took 111p to sell, so miles inside - good luck holders. If tensions ease got to be worth 10p higher, but personally I go with the opposite of whatever Putin says. If he says he's pulling back troops and won't invade, more likely something's about to happen.

Putin got what he wants to be seen has a world player again and oil $90 a barrel. Raven back to normal price around 125p to 130p.Been in this 11 years seen it all ups and down, but always paid out every 13 weeks.

Putin wants maximum bang for his buck. He has achieved that, without a shot being fired. Putin needs to be treated like a world leader, despite being a dictator. Job done, I believe.

There you have a governor in Elvira Nebiullina who takes the value of her currency seriously and is not trying to inflate away it's debt. This should also lead to Rouble revaluation when things calm down.
Luckily for RAVEN it is in a position to benefit from the strong economy whilst having it's rising interest rate costs hedged.
I hope that this will be reflected in the upcoming results.
