21/7/2023 17:08 | Expropriation from whom? Raven equity is owned by the Russian management. | tradertrev
19/7/2023 10:48 | Wonder whether Raven assets may be subject to expropriation similarly as per for Carlsberg and Danone, and if so whether it could turn out to be a blessing in disguise e.g. if it provides grounds for compensation awards in countries where Russian state, or state linked entities have assets. | muzerewa
04/7/2023 11:11 | thanks. That's cheap enough to be almost interesting. | zangdook

04/7/2023 09:17 | Also received the dividend on my pref shares held in AJ Bell. Never had any problem getting a reply from the company - try bgarnham@ravenproper | stemis
04/7/2023 08:59 | There has been 1 settled trade reported Settled trades: Date of transaction 28/06/2023 Type of Share Ordinary Volume 200,023 Price (GBp) 5.1 In passing, I got fully & promptly paid the dividend on my holding within XO | rahosi
04/7/2023 02:23 | The company never paid me the declared dividend on my 10k RAVP shares. They never replied on my emails as well. I am properly registered on their new service, the new shares agent (link group) and I hold a physical certificate. I believe they are crooks and my money got evaporated. | astavrou
01/6/2023 09:38 | Interesting way that a Russian guy managed to leave the country and transfer his roubles to foreign currency using a crypto trader in Istanbul. Go to about 6 mins 30 into the vid to hear the details. | ramellous
26/5/2023 09:24 | sorry OT I don't think they're too concerned about it being credible. | zangdook
26/5/2023 09:16 | Everyone but the American military industrial complex who wouldn’t survive without a credible threat. | ramellous
24/5/2023 10:44 | Rahosi many thanks for the information. It will be interesting to see what people want or take for their shares when the matched bargain trading starts. I feel the ordinaries are almost worthless with the value being mainly in RAVP. The arrears on the preference is building and i wonder if another payment will ever be made. As always I pray for peace and an end to sanctions. Though all the talk is of more weapons and no mention of a peace conference or solutions. You would imagine Peace would be a simple thing. A UN lead peace keeping force in the disputed regions. A 10/20 year delayed plebiscite on ether to remain Ukrainian or to join Russia. The intervening years would allow institutions to be put in place to allow a peaceful transfer which ever way the vote went. It may cost billions but it seems everyone would be better off spending billions on peace rather than war. | pbaker

04/5/2023 16:40 | I left A J Bell two years ago ... expensive and very poor service. | keith95
26/4/2023 14:51 | Yes, I got the same reply as Uncle_sam. Acting on Zandook’s advice (& others) promptly means the shares were never actually removed from my account, so we are back to the status quo. Thanks all for your suggestions. G. | glynnef
26/4/2023 14:07 | Just got 2nd msg from AJ Bell, reversing yesterday's msg as a mistake. Stet. | uncle_sam
26/4/2023 13:29 | SteMis: If the shares have no value, surely Bell should be willing to arrange for you to have a share certificate in respect of your SIPP holding? Why not ask? They do have value, although difficult to quantify. I doubt AJ Bell would do it. They won't allow in-specie transfer into an ISA for example. They offer a bed and breakfast, which involves selling the shares outside the ISA, buying them in the ISA and transferring the cash between the two. Amyway I'm happy with them inside the SIPP. If I could take them out I'd lose the tax shelter. | stemis
26/4/2023 13:20 | Further to our previous communication, we have received an update regarding Raven Property Group Ltd. Please disregard the previous notification. Your shares in Raven Property Group Ltd have not been declared worthless and will not be removed from your account. | cwa1

26/4/2023 09:52 | Hi I've had the same message from You as well and was very surprised. May I ask some kind person to suggest the right buttons to push in an email to them to get them to stop this process? I'm not really sure how best to word it I'm afraid. Thanks for your help in advance | theinquisitiveone

26/4/2023 07:49 | That's what HL did, they saw that Leader Smart Holding, a Hong Kong registered company, had closed down, and assumed without checking that it was the same as Leader Smart Holdings, a BVI company. Telling someone their property is worthless and you will confiscate it is a very serious step when your whole business model depends on clients trusting you to hold their property, and the fact that HL and now AJB will do this without spending a few minutes making quite sure they have it right is disappointing. In HL's case they never provided any evidence or even admitted to having made a mistake, they just quietly put the shares back after a long delay. | zangdook
25/4/2023 17:39 | I have the same message. There is a company 'Raven Property Group Services Limited' (formerly Raven Russia Limited) which dissolved on 28 March 2023 but this is a company which has always been dormant since incorporation on 5 September 2018. The shareholder was Raven Property Group Limited, which is a Guernsey register company, which is the issuer of the pref shares. AJ Bell have confused the two. I have messaged them. | stemis
25/4/2023 16:55 | I have suggested to A J Bell that they may care to check which company has actually been dissolved on the Companies House website! It’s not RAven Property Group! | bobswest |
