previously they had

4.91%

so 4.92% seems a negligible increase?

At the momwnt we look like we are repeating the august to november chart.

If it drops below 86p interday I think I will get out again. Not looking good.

I can't draw chart at present because ADVFN not working 100%when I try. Maybe because I am in Vietnam.

Rank Group named donor of the year
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
The Rank Group has been named donor of the year in the inaugural awards made by the GREaT Foundation, the body responsible for raising funds to support research, education and treatment of problem gambling. Geoffrey Godbold OBE, director of The GREaT Foundation, said that the depth of the gambling industry's support would make unnecessary the introduction of a statutory levy on all licence holders. In relation to the award winners he commented: "The Rank Group plc not only donated very generously but thanks to its CEO, Ian Burke, has also set the standard in broadening our donor constituency by encouraging its suppliers to support us as well." The list of Gold Award winners comprised Betfair, Cashino, Danoptra, Gala Coral, Ladbrokes, London Clubs International, PartyGaming and William Hill.

On the 4th January Panmure Gordon increased their Price target to 124p, so their 06th Febuary price target of 136p is yet another increase.

Currently Goldmans has a price target of 110p for Rank.

betman - I think it's worth re-posting from James Hollins, leisure analyst at Daniel Stewart. "In the absence of any declaration of a return to dividend payments (we assume capital will likely be put into new format roll-out rather than returned to shareholders in the short-term)."

Panmure Gordon 'buy' Recommendation with a 136p target price - published a note on bingo-hall operator Rank Group (RNK) after a visit to two of the company's bingo halls in Eltham and Catford. Both of these halls have recently undergone refurbishment to push improvements in admission levels in order to attract younger players.

The broker said that it had been impressed by improvements in the food and drink offering and the slots, which will help to drive admissions growth. There is scope to expand the refurbishment programme to other sites if the improvements in performance continue. Although it views improvements as possible for approximately half of the 103 clubs operated by Rank, it cautioned that it remains sceptical "about the ability of the group to successfully reinvigorate the product on a wider scale".

Broker Daniel Stweart has come out with a sell recommendation. With RNK recovering and a bid possible thats an amazing recommendation. I havent anymore detail but it would be interesting to see their rationale

low volume day apparently great that this is hovering on the 91p mark - it allows it to gather momentum/force for the next break up [hopefully ;)]

Well, if you look at the example on the right of their page, they seem to have in theory doubled their money in two years..........but.........it don't look like they paid any fees to do that and if you deducted say £12 every time they bought and sold, its a different story

if it was really that good they would be selling memberships at $200 a month or holding it as a secret from us common people not offering it for free i presume - to me it seems a bit like tarot reading.
