14/5/2010 08:17 | SAGEM Only a complete and utter fool would believe a single word of that reserve report. A stock doesn't head south after it has announced the potential recovery of 215 Bcf of natural gas. | pwhite73
14/5/2010 08:17 | SAGEM I unfiltered you, but you are still as paranoid as ever. HA57 above has it nailed, its an AIM/ASX tussle and with increasing numbers of shares travelling to AIM, this market will take over the reigns in due course. BTW - what do you want them to say? | fairdeal2008
14/5/2010 08:17 | Yep, quoted 3.85 to buy. | bigneil9
14/5/2010 08:17 | PW -Why do people talk utter tosh about the ASX? please elaborate? I cant see any post which begs that question. | hardassets57
14/5/2010 08:15 | 3.84 is current buying price, ive just added a few more | currypasty
14/5/2010 08:11 | Why do people talk utter tosh about the ASX. The ASX is a fair and transparent market unlike the crime infested AIM. Look at the spread on the ASX and compare it to the spread on the AIM. What you should be looking for is the company to transfer all trading of the stock to the ASX not to have the stock transferred from the ASX to electronically rigged roulette wheel called the AIM. The stock is heading south and quite rightly so. They must thing people are complete idiots. 215 Bcf WTF. | pwhite73
14/5/2010 07:55 | SP down again in OZ, it is now at 6.3C. It was 6.1C before the recent news and is realistically trading in the range pre-news so we can see 3.25-4p now being the range. With dilution to come this is not going anywhere fast, if you got out at the top of the spike you did well if you bought above 3.5p you are stuck in for a will yet. OZ really don't like Range so until AIM has all the shares we will be stuck with a low share price until they make money. | freefall3
14/5/2010 07:36 | How do you all feel today with regards to RANGE RESOURCES share price ? | sagem
13/5/2010 21:29 | I wouldn't invest if I were you, I'd learn to type. | shugmonkey
13/5/2010 21:27 | bdquaint, Potential resource in Texas of 215bcf of gas, 16mmbbls of oil & 15mmbbls of condensate. One well is flowing oil&gas to sales while another has just spud to appraise/develop that resource. Large holdings in two other 'oily' areas, Georgia and Puntland. Drilling due in Puntland in the Autumn. If your a shorttermer, probably not the best co for you to trade. However, longterm, the fundamentals here are excellent. Its more an 'investment' for me than a 'punt' on that basis. Not sure about what your criteria for a 'punt' is though. Cash | cashandcard
13/5/2010 21:20 | Hi guys, iam an investor is punter shares, like EEL AND PPC is this a punt or a real investment?been watching it for a while, but still not sure. cheers ben | bdquaint
13/5/2010 18:42 | i take you've just bought in sul2 and you would like as many people to join you to help that spike get even higher for you, and what happens if the takeover talks become nothing? I'll tell you what happens, you get a lot of naive investors trapped in a share for a while that they don't want to be in. tut tut | bedwetter82
13/5/2010 17:02 | OPTARE TAKEOVER RUMOUR: Optare CEO Jim Sumner, who pioneered the Eco Drive concept, said: "The fact is that all hybrid buses are not the same we firmly believe that our Eco Drive hybrids will set the benchmark for emission and fuel saving advantages. " This order emphasises our significant lead in the design and production of low and zero emission buses. As well as our unique Eco Drive range of hybrids, Optare remains the only manufacturer to offer a fully electric-drive model, the Solo EV, as well as the only manufacturer of dual-fuel bio-methane buses. " When we launched Optare's Eco Drive programme last September we believed it would be a winner with operators seeking both low emissions and realistic costs. We anticipate being able to announce further orders for low carbon bus models in the near future, both from UK and export markets," said Mr Sumner. " The global trend toward low carbon and zero emission bus technology is now unstoppable. We think our combination of lightweight construction, modular design and range of green bus technologies is a winner," he said. | sul2

13/5/2010 14:01 | For those of you wondering about why all this selling. Captain grumpy posted a while back that he thought it was the 2.9p rights issue guys selling on their shares as many will be taking their profits. Seemed a logical post to me. Maybe you could repost Cpt? If not it is only a day or two back for those interested. | dr jekyll |
