I must say it's rare in my experience for a globe-trotting international businessman to be puttying their own windows.
I mean, have you seen Branson or Gates puttying? Dyson?
Tom Jones? Shirley Bassey?
NO. They had their windows puttied by a glazier.

The clowns post such gibberish, I'm wondering if they're descended from Edward Lear.
Pure nonsense.
Nasdaq - I must admit to having a coffee in Carluccios the last time I was in Marbella, and very nice it was.
Do you think this pair could afford Carluccios? I very much doubt it.

Range up. WTI up. Nothing to see this weekend. What is not to like?

Oh, and rugby tomorrow. Wish I could go to Scotland, but will watch it on S4C instead.

"Skin. Zero chance of that (clowns becoming international businessmen), they rarely get out of the valleys". (post fromn the very strange nasnan)

I can only talk for this "clown". If I get out of the Valleys, it is very rare these days. And, if you lived in the Valleys, you would not want to travel much either. I have had 2 foreign holidays this year already and bought a new Merc in November - so not staying in Valleys for lack of cash. But because it is Home Sweet Home.

As far as my illustrious colleage is concerned, he doesn't even live in the Valleys. As you know, he lives in beautiful West Wales. Typical of you to lie, nasnas. Nasnas and nasron do that continually to make themselves feel superior and important.

Luxury? How troll wishes he had not lost his fortune and potential "luxury" lifestyle in 2012. Grubbing round the bins of Carlucchio's is romantic, I am sure. But not really the luxury he once hoped for.

Skin

Zero chance of that, they rarely get out of the valleys and Carluccios is about as much as they can stretch to.......

It’s embarassing to read how crass it is, they have zero idea about luxury as they can’t google it.......

Bludy ell - the clowns have now morphed into international businessmen.
Lets hope their business acumen is a little better than their investment strategy.

Hi Lewis, I agree with you on the Campanille, my first choice for business travel, reasonably priced with French food standards. Dubai is amazing but has become very overpriced in recent years. I used to often stay at The Hilton on the Creek but over development and poor infrastructure made travel to and from the free port of Jebel Ali too difficult. Bahrain is great and far better priced, much more geared for business than tourism but they do now have F1 now of course. Would recommend the Novotel on the outskirts of Manama, lovely hotel with a private beach.

Dubai is somewhere I know very little about, but I was glad that Ron was enjoying himself there. If hotels there are as luxurious and reasonable as Bahrein, he will have been royally looked after. Assume he is back now and we are unlikely to get 5am posts from him next week - otherwise we will suspect he's got a sleep problem and will afford him the usual sympathy.

Dubai may be unknown to me, but hotels have been important to me all my life. I have stayed in excellent hotels in India that are £10 for b&B and unacceptable hotels in UK that are over £500 a night.

Premier Inns are excellent, so are Travelodges. At that sort of price too, Hilton Hotels can be very good indeed out in sticks.

My favourite hotel of all time was the Coed y Mwstwr in Bridgend. The Managing Director of Tesco would stay there, as well. It was the equivalent today of about £100 a night, and he could have had a suite in Celtic Manor or similar on his ex's. But he much preferred this little hotel in Bridgend - and so did Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor when they were in area. I also like Campaniles very much, and they can be quite cheap - I am a Francophile and just love the food and the French touchs.

I don’t think RnR was mocking Premier Inn as a brand perse, just its the only hotel they could afford in a place like dubai where high end luxury is very prevalent, just most of it is beyond the Cocos’ budgets.....whatR17;s not to like .....

100% correct, dodge_city. The end is indeed nigh. 13 months away according to you or nasnas (not sure if any difference between you and the "nostradamus" of this board). Less than a century according to green campaigners. Soon but at an indeterminate date according to God. Which will go first - Range or our earth? Which will go first - you or our earth? Happy philosophical thoughts for the day.

And plenty of time for them to proceed.

CPS Section 127 Time Limit

Not withstanding that section 127 is a summary offence, section 127(5) provides: “An information or complaint relating to an offence under this section may be tried bya magistrates' court in England and Wales or Northern Ireland if it is laid or made — before the end of the period of 3 years beginning with the day on which the offence was committed, and
before the end of the period of 6 months beginning with the day on which evidence comes to the knowledge of the prosecutor which the prosecutor considers sufficient to justify proceeding”

"Nas - I was mocking those that stay at that level of hotel"

Really, they are well handy, got a £25 room booked for later in the month, handy to get changed in and if one drink turns I to a dozen, no harm done.

Nah, premier inns get my vote

That is funniest post you have made in your 5 months since you started posting here as a newbie, Ron. Very unfortunately, it says everything about your constant lies, your constant taunts and your total lack of humour.

Blimey graham. You and CH are both stars in my eyes. Wish I was musical like you; wish I had so much fun from my music too. My limit is church music and Male Voice Choirs!!

I love this Dubai thread. Everywhere looks sunnier and warmer, and great that troll has p*s*ed off for a bit and other things on his mind - as he strokes his little ferret. Takes our minds off fact that Range will be up the swanny in 13 months - that must be a fact, cos nasnas predicts it and he has only been wrong on 656 predictions up until now. Expect he will be right this time.
