In corporate news, Royal Dutch Shell was the standout gainer as it posted a 36% jump in full-year earnings and a 32% increase in fourth-quarter earnings. The oil colussus benefited from higher realised oil, gas and liquefied natural gas prices and cost cutting. Elsewhere in the sector, BP, Tullow and Premier were also in the green.

Looking good for black gold.

Here is a fascinating fact, rmp and rrl , who were closely linked when I sold 7 years ago....
For each rmp share I could have bought just under 3 rrl shares, after Celtic’s fantastic posts and charts 1 rmp share would, at today’s price get you 125 shares ......
Way to go celticheart07 keep up the fantastic ramping...who would have thought rmp would have outperformed range, actually they have not outperformed range they have obliterated range in terms of performance....

Good to see that Malcy is still watching Range despite assurances from posters elsewhere that he is not

Guess who wrote this, albeit not too controversial -perhaps coco has learned his lesson about trying to be too detailed in his posts as it normally goes badly r[wrong and he gets mocked, although anyone care to post malcy’s record on range since he put it in his watch list I suspect it’s a little bit embarrassing....

Range has released its quarterly activities report for 4Q 2018, production suffered as did many with the weather but was only slightly lower at 572 bopd. The company is focusing on balance sheet restructuring and is in continuing discussions with the debt holder to reach a solution ‘for the benefit of all parties’.

The company is also continuing to reduce costs of the Trinidad operation and maintain their $6m of cash. Notwithstanding that they are progressing key exploration studies at the St Mary’s block wh8ch is potentially one of the most prospective onshore blocks in Trinidad. It is in a proven basin with world class source rock and on a good trend with the Shell operated Central Block. With a number of other blocks being progressed such as at Morne Diablo there appears to be some light at the end of the tunnel in this exciting oil province.
