18/4/2016 15:05 | The gold bugs would have you believe that gold will be 'unleashed' and start its righteous ascent. I'm a bit more blase about it. To me it looks like gold is consolidating before another leg higher but the expected rise will have absolutely nothing to do with the China news. | abc125
18/4/2016 10:25 | Any of you guys, expecting big change in spot gold trmw when gold backed yuan goes live? If not, why not? Any thoughts appreciated. Cheers. | binarypilot
14/4/2016 19:19 | Loving it..its just as i planned. Not fussed if it goes higher...but its dripped nicely today..keep it coming pls. Really looking forward to my Shaggers Fund as it drips | sanks
14/4/2016 09:31 | I also had a short at 6835p but closed too early given today's plunge. Currently though any significant retrace is a buying opportunity. H2 might be a completely different matter when the deflationary trend in stocks and commodities resumes. I should have spotted this commodity rally earlier which is typical of a late stage equity bull market. Anyone remember oil going to $147 in 2008 before collapsing to $30? | abc125
13/4/2016 08:22 | - I can hear the Fat Lady beginning to warm up :0) -How's the shorts squeezing going sanks. -(at least you're doing well out of AAL - off like a rocket this am) It's probably a bit too early to divide the resource stock boat into various components - all seem to be rising, against a background of Currency & Political uncertainty) -Maybe one day you might get your 51 Target - But not for a while - and not before some painful squeezing. - How's the Soprano Practice :0) | k mon
12/4/2016 14:09 | Shorted again at £68.30...reall Me and my birds have put in sell orders at £70.50, just incase it decides to be nice to my Shaggers Fund. Hope this begins to make some sense soon Sanks...with a £51.85 level 4 target | sanks
12/4/2016 09:53 | bank of china, gold has a special risk-return characteristic so how much are they really bumping up reserves? you would think they have a target of going from under 2% to holding g' reserves of at least 5% back to 71quid? dyor | mike24
11/4/2016 16:16 | Sanks are you still waiting for £51? As I said weeks ago, we won't see £51 for weeks! The good news is that we should top out soon. However we could have a 300 point gap opening to the upside first. | abc125
08/4/2016 17:29 | Tomorrow we either double top at 6700p or we break out to a higher trading range. The latter looks more likely. | abc125
08/4/2016 17:28 | ABC125 it's getting closer and I am hoping for a good bit higher. Even the Panama guys will be shovelling it up | a3477681
08/4/2016 09:10 | Decided to close out for +30 points. Gold after an initial dip down to $1232 is going back up! | abc125
07/4/2016 17:04 | Took a short at 6585p. Risk reward is good. It could go either way tomorrow but I will close out if it breachs the highs at 6717p. | abc125
05/4/2016 13:06 | You do Know what a Bull Flag looks like ? - It just might be waving ta ta to you & your Sheila. | k mon
05/4/2016 01:04 | Its trying its best in doing a lambrotti towards my shaggers dream to £51.85 Really appreciate this if it gets there Sanksalot | sanks
01/4/2016 08:36 | Come on RRS, you know you want to give me 51.85 I have the patience so i'll wait for you Really appreciate this | sanks
30/3/2016 17:38 | Me and my bird are not closing yet..we're looking at £53 range, cos we want our dream shagster 5 star all inclusive holiday coming. Can't panic cos it skirtlifts then shags down..thats the way they whittle out the boys from the real shaggy men. Hope this helps, as it helps me when it hits £52.85 Sanks...they know i know | sanks
25/3/2016 09:21 | Closed my 6390p short at break even having been up 170 points at one stage yesterday. Bad move. The low was 6200p so it decided to stay within the 6100p-6700p price range despite weak gold prices. It looks like I will have to go back to taking quick profits and forget about a swing trade until we break out of this trading range. | abc125
23/3/2016 23:29 | Keep it till it hits below £55..its heading down there, Sheila told me last night | sanks
23/3/2016 21:05 | Your timing better than mine abc, I went short as 6220. However gold has dropped since at the close of RRS was the peak of NASDAQ:GOLD so I expect the UK listing to follow. This is substantially a dollar bull move rather then gold per say. XAUD:GBP does not look as bad as the dollar chart. | hpcg
23/3/2016 20:37 | gold tanking | gucci
23/3/2016 18:51 | Took a short just before the close at 6390p. I'm expecting a little downdraft to 6052p which would be a 9.9% correction from the 6717p high. | abc125
18/3/2016 14:27 | I was looking at Amsterdam...can do numbers in me head, whilst window shopping! Some real pieces on display..need some genuine tension release once this hits close to £52 Looking good to keep tanking...any help would be appreciated Sanksalot | sanks
17/3/2016 22:47 | chart looking good to 71quid a lot of Germans brave enough to admit the euro has been a disaster, with the inflationary effect on everything, especially pensions say if the UK left EU, Europe would be begging our return in a couple of yrs = more currency depreciation | mike24
17/3/2016 17:29 | Sanks Tanks | dilbert dogbreadth |
