So - US growth revised down from 2.1% to 1.9% in Q4

Bullish for a rate rise then.

That economy is just "running hot".

Gold to $1,280 with 10 days imho.

Numbers coming out of US on the negative side, hence weakening of USD. As an aside I have noted that when the Dow looks weak it is only once London closes that the fall sets in. Lets see!!

Disappointing as signs looked good for more £ gains today but it wasn't to be. Just a 55p rise. Still, taking into account recent gains, it adds up to a good profit. Got a bit spooked when gold price fell back as holding quite a few shares & not much left in the kitty if price falls back next week. Decided to take some profits & sold several batches between £76.60 - £76.75.

Looking good for a push to c 8000. If that level is broken can see it pushing 9000+, maybe with an all time high a possibility. All conjecture but given the many variables in play rule nothing out. Good weekend all

what is going on today as RRS struggles as gold price rises ?. Bought today at 7630 and looking to cut my loss . US futures open and RRS in UK will now be following RRS futures in USA . Of course dow futures falling but that can not be only reason .
