18/1/2017 13:59 | Mr Druckenmiller dumping his gold on Trump election night and then telling everybody about it,didn't help the gold story.Plus when the rotation out of bonds into equity stocks in the US resulted, gold as an investment was totally screwed until years end.Now that gold is shining again i'm drip feeding more in here.Chinese Investor is reaffirming my decision to do so.£100 as a target sounds good.Trump emphasising again that the dollar is too strong sets him on a collision course with Yellen and the Fed.If the Fed proposes three more rate rises this year against a backdrop of other central bankers loosening monetary policy then this will only strengthen the dollar further. If it's Trump v Yellen and Stan Fischer then i know who i'm betting on! If Trump is true to his word and not wanting a strong dollar, then our yellow metal friend should benefit. | redbaron10 | |
