25/11/2016 12:25 | The paper gold problem has been with us for years imho. Where is Germany's gold? The scam is going to break open one day. The question is when? | richie32
25/11/2016 12:15 | Nice lot of posts today ..from both sides of the fence | badtime
25/11/2016 12:01 | No, your not one of the trolls evianone - I have a list of all of them. Agree with your thesis, but there is so much evidence building that gold is very oversold. Dec 6th is a pivotal date when the Shariah compliant gold trading will be announced. Along with the Shanghai Gold exchange it will be physical that's required, not the toilet paper that Comex rigs the gold price on. All the best. | professor pettigrew
25/11/2016 11:23 | Yes bond prices have been adjusting for a number of months now. One of the main arguments for gold over the last few years was a view predicated on eventual inflationary pressures building, however for now it's moving in the opposite direction. | essentialinvestor
25/11/2016 11:10 | It's in the US bond prices - so yes it is in the RRS price. however, the inflation coming isn't | bonio10000
25/11/2016 11:05 | The FED will move on rates in December, whether that is in the gold price already we will see. | essentialinvestor
25/11/2016 09:43 | the $ has become stronger. $ cost/ oz will have fallen. | careful
25/11/2016 09:37 | Said a few post back, next stop to buy and dip toe in was £50 and if that doesn't hold its £40 Also need to be careful as RRS in a statement has said it cost them 850 USD per OZ to produce. | evianone
25/11/2016 09:23 | I'll be opening my cheque book when these are £50. | adrian noble
25/11/2016 09:15 | It's easy to see the gearing effect here viz a viz the gold price. In the past few minutes, the gold price has just turned negative on the futures and RRS has fallen from a peak of £57.50 to around £57.10 as I type this. So, if you believe that gold will eventually go back up sharply, piercing $1500 and then beyond to new all-time highs, it also makes sense to be invested in a top world-class quality stock that reflects the gearing effect. | professor pettigrew
25/11/2016 08:43 | Morning all. Not saying this is a one-way bet, far from it. No stock or sector is, but I posted some articles from GATA last night which I think are very pertinent to pointing the way for gold to massively increase it's price over the coming months and years. The Indian article in particular I think will trigger an increase in the gold price, but the jewel in the crown is the Shariah compliant gold contract coming next month. For anyone not yet signed up, just Google GATA and click on the link to sign up. You will get emails from them free of charge. They are a movement dedicated to exposing the manipulation and rigging of gold and silver prices. Do yourselves a favour and get in on the action. Remember every physical ounce of gold that is bought and kept presses the price upwards. And Randgold benefits most of all. | professor pettigrew
25/11/2016 08:32 | Good morning. | giant haystacks
25/11/2016 08:30 | For The Record I Added Yesterday ! | chinese investor
25/11/2016 08:10 | Buying £50k Randgold this morning. I am extremely bullish now on this stock. I think gold will have a great week next week in the run up to the Italian Referendum. I think the referendum result will either be extremely close, or, most likely in my opinion the Italians will vote to Leave. As it sinks in that the european union is breaking up I think Gold will start to make a come back. I am a believer in Goldman Sacks target prices and I see Randgold going to 11500 by year end. | gilesgraves
24/11/2016 20:28 | My Christ! They are all coming out of the woodwork this evening! | professor pettigrew
24/11/2016 20:06 | Thank you for guidance Professor Pettigrew - you are truly an inspiration. | nhs buyer
24/11/2016 20:04 | By the way folks, we have a very juvenile troll that follows decent folk around and red ticks them - whatever they post. Sad isn't it? | professor pettigrew
24/11/2016 20:03 | The rules to remember are, accumulate the physical, and if you do happen to do a paper trade, it is your legal right to insist on physical delivery at the end of it. When the casino merry-go-round is stopped then we will see the true value of gold. | professor pettigrew
24/11/2016 20:01 | And another very interesting article, courtesy of the GATA website:- | professor pettigrew
24/11/2016 19:35 | An interesting article. Highlights the distorting effects of paper only speculation on the price of Gold. Two years production, 6200 tonnes theoretically sold into the market, since the Trump win. Actual sales of only 600,000 oz by ETF's. What a disconnect between synthetic sales and reality. | careful
24/11/2016 19:15 | bonio1000 (and others). Just to give you a flavour of how GATA operate, this is this evening's offering:- | professor pettigrew |
