Rather worrying that the major shareholder loan still hasn't been agreed. Trading conditions on the high street have worsened since the budget as confirmed by Shoe Zone. QUIZ directors have to be comfortable that the company is still able to meet its obligations. Its survival looks precarious.

Everything hangs on clothing retailer QUIZ having a decent Christmas. The company is likely to need a substantial cash injection if things don’t pick up. QUIZ shareholders are likely to find out by mid-January.

Even if the company manages to limp through in the short term, the longer-term prospects for the business look very shaky, at best.
