06/1/2019 09:49 | Really poor TU is priced in to the share price by the market as if the company is going to have major major decline in sales and profits but reality is as the company has already reported group sales for the first 8 weeks till 24th November were actually up 10% in what suppose to have been really bad September and November and now a lot of companies are starting to report holiday period was not as bad as the forecasters were predicting. Imo TU will be better then what the market has priced in to the share price Remember right now market cap is around 39 Million for a company in a worse case scenario will still deliver around 9 million profit around 13 million free cash and No debit so I am expecting strong share price Recovery. | kaka47
05/1/2019 06:44 | Kaka what's your thoughts on trading update. If profits are around 7-8m I'm happy. | nitbhav06

04/1/2019 09:51 | Agree Debenhams is going to prevent Quiz share price from rallying however, the online sales are increasing significantly. If we can hit £40m through this channel and positive traction regarding international sales, Debenhams won't really matter that much. If you go through the half year results, there is a clear strategic priority to focus on increasing sales through quiz website and mobile application and tailoring this model to each country across the world. Sales through these mechanisms entail greater margins (assuming 65-70%), so this will drive Ebitda performance. I honestly think in the next 3-4 years, we'll be pushing close to £100m revenue through online sales alone and this will give us solid Ebitda performance. I genuinely think this is a £1bn market cap company in the making. If we get a high profile celebrity to drive brand awareness, it will be a game changer. Strong buy - accumulate and hold. | nitbhav06

02/1/2019 09:45 | The biggest worry is the exposure to Debenhams apart from that sound business | kaka47
30/12/2018 13:38 | Interesting to see where this moves tomorrow, with the large broker houses closed over Christmas and New Year I see a rise into the 35s with small private investor buying on low volumes. But as soon as those retail trading statements start coming out, then that window of opportunity closes imo. | barvin
28/12/2018 08:00 | So then Yump yes all those things (to some extent) are true.... But all priced in IMO. So I see value/darkest before the dawn and all that. As for the investing rule I have also found some if you buy low you are more likely to make some returns! A minor profit so far. Oh yes and control your stake! | gspanner
27/12/2018 23:47 | @ kcr69 Its very silly posting percentages here. Didn't you know that only 20% of the population know how to work them out and ADVFN only has 0.0005% of them, so that means only 0.0001% of people on here know what you're talking about. | yump
27/12/2018 23:43 | Quiz: problems Retail: gloom Brexit: gloom Dow: gloom FTSE: gloom Possible trade wars: gloom Well now, isn't that the opposite of them all being great, at which point everyone buys in ? Now what's that old lesson about investing ?... I'm sure it was something to do with selling at a higher value than you bought... | yump
27/12/2018 20:25 | Is is worth waiting a week or two? I think so. | barvin

27/12/2018 10:53 | Bit of buying interest here and in the general retail sector - market seems to be having a punt on things not being quite as bad as the Armageddon factored in. Superdry flying. | podgyted
27/12/2018 10:48 | Look if you opened a short here at 180, may as well well stay in... If not a pretty disastrous Christmas is priced in here. Snap to the upside more of a danger IMO. | gspanner
