Spent some time going through QTX results yesterday and bought a v small holding today. Insurance division has been in decline but fleet management still looks like a growth area.
I've always considered the CEO to be honest and very conservative and he runs the business well.
Not going to set the world alight in the short term but with 75% of revenue recurring and slowly increasing plus increase in free cashflow and net cash, its possible there could be early signs the company is getting back on a growth path once again.
PE is high however at 20 but you generally have to pay up for recurring revenues.
Chart also showing early signs of recovery.

These look very good value now with a return to growth and likely earnings beat. Switch from insurance to fleet beginning to pay off.

Yes, it's a timing issue. They expense the costs of their own new installations up front meaning no profit until future periods and are reducing the low margin insurance business where they get paid per installation up front. So EBITDA will be less this year but larger and more predictable in future years.

i am unsure as to the reassurance in the agm trading update - the board is confident of meeting consensus expectations for 2019 - well, the footnote states that the consensus ebitda is £6.7m, which is lower than 2018 and 2017

Price and volume will determine where this goes - I ignore all forecasts, opinions etc these days as its all noise.
