If the current employees are happy with the promise of rewards tomorrow the current share price is option money on the basis of great expectations. Certainly worth a punt at around 1p a share. I don’t think there is another company offering its staff such a level of jam tomorrow. The question is whether there is something happening that we the shareholders are not aware about. Not for widows and orphans!!

Francesco Gardin, CEO and Chairman of QBT, commented: "Our option-based reward
policy, applied to all non-University key members of the R&D team is now in
place. While we have awarded new options to those consultants who were engaged
this year by the Company, we have also extended the terms for some of the
options which have previously been allocated, while increasing the exercise
price of part of them.

the core SHA-256 performance, which the Bitcoin industry has been trying to

Whoever gave my post a thumbs down, I guess it's ok be dishonest and claim a 300% rise within a week or two? I guess it's also ok to lie about options being bought on the 16th Dec. Profit is profit but it brings into question the morals of the vast majority on these bb's. If anyone rides the waves with letsbuy don't be fooled when he starts dumping and you're left in negative equity.

QBT have already acquired some ASIC miners and are acquiring more to run tests:QBT15/11/2022"The computational requirements to validate both Method A and Method B by testing at the current level of difficulty of BTC extraction are very challenging. The Company has not ruled out the use of a supercomputer for such tests, but a more pragmatic approach in the short term is based on the use of existing market-available ASIC miners. The Company has already acquired a number of ASIC miners with the intention that the control software on the ASIC miners will be replaced by QBT's own proprietary software, based on Method B. Additional miners will be acquired to test the performance of both Method A and Method B at the current mining difficulty.Interesting preliminary laboratory results have been achieved to date with Method B, which is based on two different combined ML methods, indicating a statistical improvement of up to 30% over existing commercially available ASIC chip-based BTC miners. That is, regardless of the performance of the ASIC chip used by the miner, the Company's proprietary software could statistically still increase mining speeds by up to 30%, whilst not impacting the miner's power consumption. Provided that the performance of the Method "A" and / or Method "B" algorithms are confirmed, the goal is to run them on existing commercial miners to improve their performance, as stated above, by replacing the native control software with QBT's own control software. Based on current test data, we would expect to see an immediate improvement in the overall performance of the mining rig, without any need for additional hardware investment. To ensure the success of this approach, the Company is also working to modify the control software of the miner operating system."

Yes but before it must be tested. The increase must be real, costant, don't short the miner live, working with the main miners, etc... Very, very difficult task for QBT that was not able to mine with the current plug and play miners!!!
