More powerful rigs using more and more power.. so what would happen if a government slapped an environmental tax on bitcoin miner's. It's going to happen sooner rather than later, and then they will need more efficient ways to mine

Bearing in mind PG claims all the major players are aware of them you would have to ask the question why nobody has snapped them up or at the very least entered into a partnership with them.

Short answer is, nobody believes their claims, they are unable to prove their claims on the live blockchain and they are a long, long way from having a viable product. In the meantime more powerful rigs are getting released that are a safer bet than using QBTs non-working, unproven tech.

Yep. Also evidenced by having toi approach third party companies to get their changes working on commercial firmware once they have 'proven' their stuff works

There have been other attempts to do what Quantum are doing. They too had similar problems. Why.. BTC has been designed to be inherently difficult to give it value. It it was easier to mine it would be pointless and worthless .
