But after three years of dithering over whether they were going to use a CPU a GPU or an FPGA and changing their minds along with dithering over whether they were going to use a 12nm or 7nm or 5nm ASIC along with a diversion into a Serbian garden shed populated with ZX80's Francesco has taken charge of the dithering and announced a super fast Hardware solution to Method C implemented in Software.

The Oracle does not know the hash, just (apparently) the likelihood of the input producing a winning hash. From the Method C RNS:

'Method C's AI Oracle is able to predict the likelihood of an input to SHA-256 (the core algorithm to mine Bitcoins) to produce a winning Hash ... on an average of 100 inputs to SHA-256, more than 50 of them are assessed as not worth being calculated'

So it assesses the input then passes viable ones on the the ASIC. So out of 100 inputs 100 of them will spend time with the Oracle being assessed and between 50 to 70 will then be passed on to the ASIC.

So 100 calls to the oracle + 50 to 70 calls to the ASIC as opposed to 100 calls to the ASIC. Which is why PG said that speed was of the essence and the software version needs to be as fast as the hardware version. Which is going to be impossible when you factor in latency of the SaaS.

Yes. But The Oracle already knows the hash so QBT no longer needs the ASIC. They just have to ask The Software Defined AI Oracle.

Of course that leaves the patent application so that he can release the lack of details upon an unsuspecting World.

Price goes up and down, this pump is based not on anything QBT has achieved but on BTC pumping. For it to be sustainable QBT needs to deliver a working product. I still believe they are nowhere near doing this, if they ever get there.

Most QBT investors are still underwater, the price is down 49% in the last 12 months, PG is still struggling to get anything of any value. Seems a bit too early to be celebrating.
