It is a great shame that paper share certificates are not issued as of old. Some were beautiful engravings, such as those issued by the US Railway companies, and shipping companies. Fine pictures of trains and ships.
If QBT shares were certificated, a million share certificate showing an engraving of FG holding an NDA, bordered by portraits of all its numerous consultants, alternating with vignettes of all the exotic destinations they have visited for trade conferences, would make a wonderful Easter present for the wife. And a million shares would not cost much, unless one really pushed the boat out and had it mounted and framed. |
Cat. Meet Pigeons. |
What, another NDA? Lol |
spread bets closing only..huge news imminent |
There really is not much there that is of any value. However they do have the listing which will be useful when they go the way of other companies and have to rely on talk of reverse take overs to give the faithful something to cling to.
I really shouldn't do this but CPAI used to be into property development before their pivot to AI. |
The sad thing is that the share price is lower now than it was 4 years ago so clearly no value has been placed on the ridiculous investment they've made on the new strategy. The market cap is purely based on Sipiem and current cash in the bank, the latter which is diminishing rapidly and the former very questionable. Basically, worthless. |
Wrong and totally irrelevant anyway...the trade value is less than £5k!! Lots of interest not. |
Most of the sells are clearly buys. |
FG: The usual suspect. MB: A Megabrane.
FG: "Hows it going?" MB: "No go." FG: "What!" MB: "We trained the model assuming all of the nonces." FG: "So?" MB: "The ASIC only has two thirds of them." FG: "Why is life so hard?" MB: "We could retrain using the new constraints." FG: "No. I'm going to moan about everyone else doing things wrong." MB: "If we include the Merkle Root we'll be back on track." FG: "Shut up! Everyone else needs to do it my way."
MB1: "Any luck?" MB2: "No. He's gone off on another one." MB1: "Moany PRN?" MB2: "That's the one." MB1: "Are we working 24/7? MB2: "That's what he thinks." |
...well done Ice. |
Finals and another REPO rollover in a couple of months. Another £4m loss on the books, nothing in from Sipiem and ONE NDA signed. That’s real progress. |
Ellipses, your working show us once again that, as his academic background dictates FG is purely a Theoretician, and not a good one at that, and certainly not an Applied technologist. He will achieve nothing. |
 REF: #16342
"Why there are gaps in the nonce space? I mean nonce space should be 4.2 billion possibilities and you have only two-thirds of them."
It's quite disturbing that FG is making what at face value appears to be schoolboy errors.
The nonce is 4 bytes or 32 bits. 2^32 = 4.29x10^9 so, yes, that is his 4.2 Billion. However the nonce is insufficient on its own. If you want to cover the full 2^256 bit, 32 byte, range of SHA256 then you would need a 32 byte nonce. Bear in mind that the difficulty will reduce that requirement but run with that.
The nonce is not big enough to guarantee that a solution will be found so you need a bigger nonce or something else that you can vary,
The ASIC, nominally, rolls the nonce in an internal counter or perhaps offset counters. If your ASIC does 1 Terahash, 1x10^12 hashes per second it will eat the whole range of nonces in 4.29 milliseconds. Then you have to update the Merkle Root appropriately and run things again.
Losing some of the range of the nonce including the hardware to roll it is neither here or there. Furthermore moaning about not having access to it, you don't anyway because it is a hardware counter, when you can adjust other candidates is a serious indication of not being able to think outside of the box over and above not understanding the problem you think you are an expert at.
FG: No, I mean, I'm a physicist so I believe in numbers and when I see numbers in the lab from the experiment, that's it. We can look at them from different perspective, we can share with colleagues, but numbers are numbers. But then these numbers have to show their effect.
I would suggest that Investors pray that FG has someone on his team that not only understands numbers but also understands numbers as they are applied to Bitcoin and how they are used because it appears that FG does not have a scooby. Whether that person exists is seriously in doubt because FG is using this as an excuse as to why they have had problems implementing their magic beans. |
 Maybe 'Not Doing Anything'.
Everyone already knows that QBT has not done anything, but fair dealing and commercial morality require that QBT warn the miners and rig makers it approaches that there is nothing in the pipeline, despite vague statements in 3D videos (is that threpence in old money?) and soft interviews suggesting otherwise.
Of course the rampers will respond (correctly) that nearly a year ago FG assured us that QBT was 'on track' to generate revenue by y/e 2024, and has never revised his position on that. So the revenue must have started to flow in at least 4 months ago, and the auditors are just being slow producing the accounts to show it. Presumably that is the 'big. news' which Iceage has been confidently predicting for 'tomorrow' for as long as I can remember.
That is the only possible explanation isn't it? FG would never mislead the market. If the trading outlook had changed QBT would have issued a trading statement saying so and stating its revised forecast. for revenue |

It doesn't filter, but it guides the search of sharks. But the ability to control every single bit, every single step of the computation, which we had on the GPU, when you use a BM 13xx family ASIC, you lose this control. mean, when you have one of the early ASICs of the BM 1397, when you have gaps in the nonce space, Why there are gaps in the nonce space? I mean nonce space should be 4.2 billion possibilities and you have only two-thirds of them. So why did the designer of that chip decided to make holes in the nonce space? And this is destabilizing us because we made assumption on a chip which will roll every single element of the nonce space.
This is from the CEO of a company that supposedly employs 20 plus MegaBranes who according to those who have read his CV is also meant to have a Megabrane as well. Good grief. I would not be surprised if he had three of them packed into his cranium and yet with all of that collective brain power we get the above drivel...
AsicBoost - A Speedup for Bitcoin Mining
Timo Hanke
AsicBoost is a method to speed up Bitcoin mining by a factor of approximately 20%. The performance gain is achieved through a high-level optimization of the Bitcoin mining algorithm which allows for drastic reduction in gate count on the mining chip. AsicBoost is applicable to all types of mining hardware and chip designs. This paper presents the idea behind the method and describes the information flow in implementations of AsicBoost.
Gosh Francesco. You don't suppose that they have not bothered with some of the numbers in order to implement ASICBoost and drastically reduce the gate count on the ASIC? Are you trying to say that you and your collective of Megrabranes missed that one and yet you expect those with lesser intelligence than your Brane Collective to pay you money to be stupid?
Oh Wait. That is literally what has and is happening. |
Does anyone think FG's interpretation of an NDA is Not Done Anything ? |
If you refer to the phases of Jupiter's moons it was obviously a worked buy from sometime in the future where World Trade has collapsed and the resulting hyperinflation translates to a price of £6,290 per share at today's rates. Obviously our future visitor knows how valuable QBT technology will become and is prepared to invest at that level to secure their stake. |
