07/5/2024 18:38 | Possibly QBT genuiely did believe that it was on the point of cracking the nut and rolling out its tech commercially. Plainly though that belief was unfounded. QBT would not have recruited Vlad when it did had it contemplated that there would still be nothing for him to sell by May 2024. The fact that commercial roll out (if it happens at all) seems certain to be much later, and probably for a much less effective product than was contemplated last year also puts into very serious doubt whether its cash reserves will see it through to profitability (if it ever becomes profitable at all). My best guess remains that there will be a further cash raise in about July. The shares have fallen over 40% YTD, while the market has risen. Everything points to there being plenty more distance for QBT to fall. Be very careful. QBT shares are a gamble, not an investment, and placing bets at bad odds is bad gambling - if you bet on an outsider you don't take odds appropriate to a favourite. That is precisely what those who bought QBT at 1.4p and above did. They bought the shares the smart money was selling! My best guess is that anyone who sells, even at a loss, at today's price will do himself a financial favour. He would have done himself a better favour if he had sold earlier, and if he had done so when some of us first advised selling he would be out with a profit unless the price at which he bought was totally crazy, but there is no point crying over spilt milk. Just don't let the mistake you made in not selling sooner leads you into the mistake of hanging on to a share with a lot further yet to fall. | 1knocker

03/5/2024 13:02 | It's worth noting as many others have done that there are any number of companies better placed than QBT that have the capability to develop the solutions that QBT are making claims on. Indeed if QBT actually managed to demonstrate a breakthrough they would be all over it like a rash. You might hope, or not, that if there was anything concrete underlying the claims by QBT such activity would already be underway and to an extent that noises would have been publicly made about it. There is however crickets. On the same side of that coin is the likelihood that QBT are just using buzzwords about technology that is available to others. The problem here is that the average Jambone doesn't have the basic skills, knowledge or ability to look deeper into what is being poorly said and see such a threat. | ellipses
