And down, is Rios also an expert on Ugandan affairs? If not, he has a bit of time before Miami bone up on the subject. |
We’ve just open sourced the BCB100 on GitHub 🔥
No mention of it incorporating Method A or Method B. Never mind. It's on Github so the QBT Megabranes will be porting to it in the next week... month... year... nearly there honest. No actually it was poorly documented rubbish with lots of lines of code. |
That would be a giggle but you would have to assume that Rios has had his little black book out and dialed around to find out who is attending so they can set up meetings prior to the event.
QBT's main problem is going to be that their 'live' demo will be like a Norwegian Blue in that if might spin a fan and flash a light but it will give no other indication of life.
That will leave them having to use words to convince their mark that there is anything credible in the underlying tech and I really do not see there being much chance of that happening.
I see the dreamers are spiking the price in anticipation of being told that everything went very well and everyone was interested with no mention of deals. The same as last year. |
'Hey, you want to come to my hotel room for a one to one meeting'
Saying this to someone at a trade show would set all my alarm bells ringing. First question would be, why no official presence at the trade show? |
Rios been posting about his presence at various trade shows including GTC2025 but nothing about Miami. |
FG will by now have fully experienced some of Fort Lauderdale's professionals at 'presenting individually to customers on a one-to-one basis in a private setting' - all in the name of research of course. |
Buyers, dreamers, sniffing about for a... or
What chance QBT do drop one, partner undisclosed, with the share price going ballistic followed by months of silence. |
Well. As they say, and are usually wrong, FG does like a Friday RNS so given it ends Thursday we might get to see him pulling his flies up in a corner of the hall on Proactive Handjob. |
All quiet over in Miami, not even a seedy pic of PG in the lobby. |

Likewise! I'm glad I'm not like you.
Spending all day, 24/7, de ramping a stock I'm supposedly investing in is plain stupid IMHO. I'm here to make money not annoy genuine investors. Seriously, I'm reading your posts out loud in my local village pub and everyone is laughing at you!
Get a life you utter 🤡 |
Exercising the Irony Meter again...
Dave, I'm sitting in my local with a mate and he's at the bar. Decide to look at the chat and see your pathetic post 🤦🏻
Still I suppose it was just a quick peek whilst getting a life and his mate was at the bar giving him time to rattle off a quick post.
No doubt the conversation has nothing to do with QBT and the drongs who post on LSE whilst their mates are getting the drinks in.
I wonder if, having sunk a few, whether they will hit the board again when they get home. |
I rewrote the last PRN and removed the blibble...
A major barrier to the implementation and proof of QBT's groundbreaking technology has been the inability to test against commercial ASICs at scale due to the secrecy that surrounds them and the poor quality of their supporting software.
By leveraging hardware developed by the OSMU and the use of their ESP-Miner we have now been able to overcome that barrier and test and verify our methods, both Method A and Method B, at small scale against a range of ASICs as used by the market leader, Bitmain.
Based on the insight provided by ESP-Miner and our previous work with CGMiner the company now believes it is in a position to transfer that knowledge to the operating system and hardware used in the latest commercial offerings from Bitmain.
The company is no longer playing catch up.
Whereas Methods A and B may be implemented externally to a mining rigs core hardware, the ASICs, Method C requires tighter integration within the ASICs themselves. Such integration will be both costly and time consuming requiring third party involvement.
Accordingly the company has implemented a technology demonstrator based on an FPGA to better explain the concepts involved and route to achieving this integration for discussion with prospective partners directly involved in the development of ASICs.
Francesco Gardin, CEO and Chairman commented: “With the adoption of hardware from the OSMU and their associated software QBT have finally cleared the reverse engineering barrier that has previously plagued our progress and will soon be in a position to operate Methods A and B against the most modern commercial hardware.
The company expects that in parallel with this evidence coupled with the creation of a technology demonstrator the company will be in a strong position to realise the adoption and implementation of Method C at the ASIC level through collaboration with a significant third party."
Unfortunately it is just as devoid of fact. |
Can't quite state how weird it is to go to a trade show with the intention of selling your product, not buy a booth but expect influential people to go off site somewhere else to see a demo. Will come across as unprofessional and a bit shady. Looks exactly what it is, piggybacking off the conference on the cheap to seek your own advantage.Bitcoin mining is a community. I am getting the impression PG thinks he is a cut above. Meanwhile everyone else in the space is getting on with mining and creating ever improved product that actually exist. And you can screenshot this and send it to QBT KoolKat. |
02:45PM in Miami. I wonder how the one to ones are going and whether anyone has got their cheque book out?
Oooops. The countdown is showing 18 hours to go. It looks like tonight is a big party and things do not get going until everyone wakes up with a hangover tomorrow. |
I see we're up today...Elon or Donald building their positions in the background?..lol |
The way KoolKat15 describes things clients are coming to pitch to QBT for a slice of the action. Apparently that's a fact. |
the QBT Team will be presenting to certain potential customers in one on one meetings. There won’t be a group presentation. This is good news IMHO and better than having a stall etc as the Trolls have stated.
lol special kind of cope there.
Best tell all the major crypto firms that they have wasted their money on registering and paying for a stand at Mining Disrupt.
As confirmed by Mining Disrupt, on-site presentations without a booth are not allowed. Therefore they will have to go to the expense of hiring a room off site and getting any interested delegates (there won't be any) to travel off site in order to see their 3d graphics video and presentation. |
Exciting stuff. The nomadic loons will be paying attention. If it gets to 10% up then the LSE forum will be flooded with new nyms and Sharebel. |
They cracked down on the lucky boxes. |
Can you buy fantasies and dreams on EBay? |
'Cant buy it now' would be more appropriate |
Hexam So we can only wait for any confirmation (again) that they did indeed give them only this time we hopefully won’t be disappointed - otherwise it’s on to the next conference and repeat.
This is similar to Buy it Now on Ebay. If you don't sell it you just relist it. |
VHS doesn't do 3D unless you have some red and green cellophane. |
Carrying a Betamax video player around the conference floor will look a bit clunky. |
Looks like they left some rose tinted cellophane for investors though so that's nice. |
