qti only let the brokers know yesterday so they have sent out letters to us all late last night. what a shambles just dont have a bl..dy clue!! I think the broker was embarrased as well. When i spoke to spurrier she said they were moving the company on now but could not say any more than that!! herd it all before !!

Agreed on all points - when share dealing is as simple as clicking on a button in a website without so much as a clue to what's happening it's no wonder there are so many sharks, shysters and bad directors still in office.

spoke to spurrier this morning and just spoke to my broker as well and we will be getting 10 shares for every one we held up until last nights close!! with all the new holders buying in this morning we are well up from yesterday!!

It's no wonder loads of dreadful shares are rebounding lately, when this kind of nonsense passes as stock debate (from LSE):

It was caused by someone dumping 1m shares in one lump.

How is buying 1mln shares for £300 today a better punt than 100k for £200, yesterday, bearing in mind we appear to be looking at nothing more than a 10 for split??
And how is dumping a tiny value of stock going to cause a 90% drop. Do these people even look at RNS releases to try and understand what is going on?
I give up!!

P.S. The company have certainly made themselves appear totally incompetent with two EGMs to try and resolve the redenomination to facilitate the loan....

You multiply the number of shares owned by 10 and divide the value of each share by 10. Result, no change.

AFAIK it just affects the rights associated with 9 of each of the 10 new shares, nothing else - there's just 10x as many shares in issue now.

As per usual investors are seeing QTI shares trading at an even lower price this morning and thinking they see "value".

It's a bit complicated, but this is how I see a confusing situation:

It just seems that the new EGM resolution is to put the A Deferred shares of 0.1p at the back of the queue if the company winds itself up or repays capital. As far as I can tell though CRM and the loan providers won't benefit from this unless both; 1) the company does decide to wind itself up or repay capital, and 2) CRM and loan providers exercise warrants so they can get their hands on Ordinary 0.1p shares (unless I've missed that the company's intending to hand out Deferred 1p shares to CRM and loan providers).

The exercising of warrants scenario is unlikely though if the company is going to call it a day, and as such it doesn't make much sense. Not only that, supposedly there'll be up to 30% dilution of the issued share capital if warrants are exercised, but at 30% dilution that would correspond to about 1.2bn of "Loan warrants" with an exercise price of 0.25p costing £3m to exercise.

All in all, I'm not sure why things are being done this way. My suspicions are that once again the company isn't being up front with investors - this time about the extent of damage which will result as part of the refinancing.

Amazingly, TDW allowed me to dump my entire holding in one go. So I'm OUT and good riddance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Best of luck to the rest of you hopefuls though, I think you need it. I'M SICK OF ALL THIS. (Sorry for being so emotional, but I've just lost thousands).
The way I see it, is that my 'old' holding of 250,000 would have got increased by 10 times, but worth 10 times less for each share - Fair Enough! BUT they now wanted to "steal" 9 out of every 10 shares that I held - NOT ON!!!!!
So I'm Out. Best of luck to all of you who stay in, and especially iNside2.
It has at least been an entertaining discussion board, and one which I myself have had a bit of fun in too. However, it's just not funny anymore. Not even worth my while filtering myself :-).

The AIM admission RNS says 'At Qonnectis he (MT) has developed from
concept a patented architecture for communicating with machines and sensors via
the Internet.' Anybody know if M Tapia or QTI own the patent? Could be interesting in respect of plans to roll out smart meters.
