04/11/2021 14:37 | Volume 4x normal Defensives are out of favour at the moment but PZ especially being hit hard. | justiceforthemany

04/11/2021 14:36 | A few AT buys coming in now. Hopefully that large seller has finished. | philanderer

04/11/2021 13:28 | Be good to have a trading update to reassure investors. | gateside
04/11/2021 13:18 | It is nothing company specific here. The last few recent weeks has seen many companies share prices hit, across a range of different sectors not just consumer goods but food and even tech. This sentiment has been driven almost entirely by traders who simply think they see some kind of direction in the share price and play it. The large institutions have not been selling and nor have long term investors. Edit: three black crows Lol what a load of bs! :-)) | cfro
04/11/2021 13:10 | Possible liks to Palm Oil plantations ? "..consumers have been pressuring PZ Cussons to cease using deforestation palm oil. Yet they have failed on this. | philanderer
04/11/2021 13:10 | well tomorrow will be interesting - if it's down again there would be the classic three black crows and so lower to go. | toffeeman
04/11/2021 12:55 | Agree justice, something very wrong here. | philanderer
04/11/2021 12:55 | Will be picked off at that level | spoole5
04/11/2021 12:24 | Stunning collapse in share price here. I see support at 185-186p actually then ~ 175p. I can't see any major Nigerian unrest or depreciation in their currency either so very strange. | justiceforthemany
04/11/2021 10:43 | Morning EI. Agree about ULVR, which I also hold, and I've bought RKT recently. Not really sure what's going on with PZC . Seems to be more than just a large holder(s) unloading. It's been dragging on too long. Under performing ULVR by a mile for the last six months No major shareholdings changed - absence of any RNS. | philanderer
04/11/2021 10:21 | Phil, think the market is overly cautious on the consumer products sectors ATM, can't make a definite call on PZC, but generally pretty confident that on stocks like ULVR current consensus may to too pessimistic. Yes there are a truckload of challenges with cost inflation and sustainability issues medium term, packaging etc - decent management should be capable of navigating these. FX also in the mix with a stronger recent GBP against multiple other currencies. | essentialinvestor
04/11/2021 10:15 | Off a cliff since that september trading statement. | philanderer
04/11/2021 09:58 | Appreciate the view, thanks. | essentialinvestor
04/11/2021 09:48 | 200 provides support back to 2019 and if it revisits 160 then a bid which the trust cannot refuse will surely come in. I tend to think PE or possibly JAB, although it may be too small for them. | toffeeman
04/11/2021 09:40 | Toffee, not a TA call just to clarify as not my area, just referencing the last post update price where some support emerged, it may not repeat. | essentialinvestor
04/11/2021 09:35 | >>EI Yep I am looking at 200 | toffeeman
04/11/2021 00:06 | £2.06/7 type area may be worth a look - if it gets there. | essentialinvestor
03/11/2021 22:25 | Trading at around 17x earnings - peers around 20x | justiceforthemany
03/11/2021 19:39 | Exceptionally unlikely without family support as per NICL, Henry Boot etc. And they showed no inclination to sell when this was flying high, why on earth would they want out now. | essentialinvestor
03/11/2021 19:28 | They are a minority | spoole5
03/11/2021 17:41 | With the family ownership don't ever see this being taken over. The turnaround will happen but will take time. | gateside |
