THe've had a controlling stake for decades though, don't really see
why an exit now would make much sense. At least they took decisive action
putting in place a new CEO.

It would be a beaut of a buy for Unilever but the family don't look to be sellers.

Announcement today of a non-exec appointment. The new CEO continues to build an experienced team:


Ms. Juarez is an experienced branded consumer goods and e-commerce leader and is currently the Senior Vice President Digital Commerce International at Ralph Lauren. She has previously held senior roles in Amazon, Diageo and Proctor & Gamble.

Workers at the plastic bottle maker used by Coca-Cola and Britvic in Wigan are set to strike over pay.

Alpla UK manufactures plastic bottles and containers for customers including PZ Cussons, Johnson & Johnson, Lever, Britvic, Coca Cola, Arla Foods, Core Ingredients, Princes Foods and others.

Hopefully will bring back some of the zip that used to drive the company - I still think that PZC could be a tasty bite for one of the many PE vultures currently stalking UK coys - Not expensive at the moment.
