I was in accounts to start but I recall vividly everyone standing in the main trading room just looking at the topics and the sea of red. No much was said, we just gazed on 19th October, and more the next day. I had just got into traded options and had bought my first call option the week before on rolls Royce. Great timing!

Happy Anniversary ElCapital! Polly Peck, Amstrad, Lonrho and MFI... Black Monday must have been an experience for a newbie. Hopefully you rode the express train that was Next. One thing I am certain of is that I bet it was a lot more fun than trading stocks today.

PURPLE will be the colour on the RI faces when this stock comes down like a ton of BRICKS.
