08/5/2017 23:23 | bwakem, The current valuation is hard to believe I agree, Let's see if it double tops or not. I am sure we are heading for a housing reversal, but as a low cost provider, that might boost their figures, but not by enough to justify the current valuation, IMO. | andy

04/5/2017 09:51 | Agree bwakem - made a bit shorting the recent leg down, but closed my short a while ago and now just waiting for the next opportunity. | puzzler2
04/5/2017 09:19 | "...the UK business is expected to record an adjusted EBITDA profit for the full year, building on the UK's GBP0.3m reported adjusted EBITDA in the first half." That's about as downbeat as you can get, they are only committing to not losing more than £300k in H2 and this is *adjusted* EBITDA. It looks to me like their costs scale at the same rate as their revenues so they will never make a statutory profit unless they hike their fees significantly. Market cap > £800m, this has to be one of the most over-valued stocks in London. To early to short yet though as there are still plenty of people getting sucked in. | bwakem
04/5/2017 09:07 | seems like pretty decent perforamnce to me. LPEs ahead of Zeus Capital's expectations. hxxps://www.research | lampran
04/5/2017 08:48 | 83% - if this is used to uplift H2 2016 revenue + layer on eg a 15% rise in revenue / customer, i can get to full year UK revenue of 42.3. This seems roughly as per broker forecasts for UK revenue. | hutch_pod
04/5/2017 08:18 | Bookbroker - established players upping the ante will play right in to Purplebricks hands. Purplebricks have such a headstart | 5chipper
04/5/2017 07:55 | 83% increase in instructions, right - was that in line with expectations? Such a quiet board compared to a while ago, I'm wary... | runthejoules
04/5/2017 07:37 | Excellent trading update and a nice quiet Bb. Just what I like. | lupins2
24/4/2017 12:21 | Nice rise from £1.55 Any other good ones out there! | au24
20/4/2017 07:25 | Probably switching back to Foxtons, which has started to break out, following breaking through long time resistance at 100p | ny boy
20/4/2017 07:10 | NXD sold 1.6M shares yesterday at £3 each - that's not a sign of the company being undervalued. | puzzler2
20/4/2017 06:57 | Nasty fall at the end. High volume or small? | runthejoules
20/4/2017 01:01 | I don't see easyproperty boards, anything like as often as PURPS | rogthepodge
18/4/2017 19:29 | As mentined above:> Got some heavy unlisted competition - The Easy name is a strong marketing proposition and some heavy weight management plus well funded So I can see PP under significant pressure - both financial and from competition. | pugugly
18/4/2017 16:58 | Now seeing LET by PBboards for the first time. | au24
18/4/2017 10:16 | Saw lots of them going through London on the 73 bus, quite a rich area, wasn't expecting to see them there! | runthejoules
18/4/2017 09:59 | I actually saw a Purple Bricks "sold" board near my house yesterday, the first time I have ever seen one! I wouldn't have thought they would need to do that, maybe they feel they need the extra kudos of people seeing sold boards? | andy

15/4/2017 19:27 | Purplebricks – What is really going on? By Chris Wood | Friday 14 April 2017 Purplebricks (PURP) is one of a raft of new-breed estate agency companies making some bold and questionable claims in the property market at present but how many of these claims stand close scrutiny and are they even trading within the law?... | someuwin
15/4/2017 09:14 | MartyWidget - I had not seen your mail or the CIELA article when I typed 591 -- but it comes as no surprise. There will be differing views ....and the road may be bumpy.....but to me the direction of travel is clear which is why I am invested here. | melody9999
15/4/2017 09:05 | Paul - I agree. But when you say 'it has about 2/3 market share'.... market share of what and where did you reference this? Traditional estate agents must be extremely worried and will no doubt try to rubbish Purplebricks. But I suspect they will need to change their business models...in the meantime Purplebricks has a head start. | melody9999 |
