05/12/2018 17:30 | It has wealthy backers who understand and support PURP's strategy. This is going to be another ASOS or Boohoo for you. | rogthepodge
05/12/2018 17:12 | then it wont have any money left to market them lol idiot! | elcapital2018
05/12/2018 17:00 | And it is why PURP will succeed where others tread. It will hoover up all the online business. | rogthepodge
05/12/2018 16:58 | Achilles heel | rogthepodge
05/12/2018 15:44 | cowtrader, That proves what some of are saying about PURP, the ongoing advertising and marketing costs that are required to attract clients will eventually become their Achilees heel. Customer loyalty is much less in house selling due to the infrequency of the transactions. | andy
05/12/2018 15:21 | Ahem! 'cowtrader' Au contraire PURP is succeeding because it has the funds for marketing, and backing from Woodford and Axel Springer. | rogthepodge
05/12/2018 14:26 | come on cowtrader, he is only 65% down from the top......still a third to go.....could take weeks to lose that! | elcapital2018
05/12/2018 14:05 | Extract from an article discussing Emoov's failure:............ "A major backer, which lost all of its £3m investment in Emoov, has said that there simply wasn’t enough cash for the huge amount of marketing needed to make a success of the venture."........... case closed Rog.... whatever is remaining of your dwindling investment will soon be no more | cowtrader
05/12/2018 09:09 | And this is during a tech boom! | andy
05/12/2018 08:34 | Elc, Yes the Emoov fiasco is not a cause for celebration for the online industry, quite the opposit in fact. Being approached to pay another upfront fee might be seen as a secondary scam by some. Property values crashing in Australia, and California, and reducing and sales getting 'sticky' in the UK, is all bad news for PURP I would suggest. Emoov's demise is another negative, and most certainly not a positive, IMO. | andy
05/12/2018 08:26 | if purp does buy emoov, it gives a solid line in the sand to purps true worth. | elcapital2018
05/12/2018 08:25 | Emoov not even valued at 50m. purp should be about 25m imo | elcapital2018
05/12/2018 00:18 | they will move from the loser to the winner it is clear that PURP are selling houses and making money it is spending the profit on marketing, to build an unassailable brand but you are welcome to your view/spin good luck with your short position | rogthepodge
04/12/2018 23:51 | so I leave emoov and no wages and I join Purplebricks another online agent where I have to go self employed, great job security. And the ex-Emoov vendors go from one upfront fee estate agent who has taken all the money and I pay again upfront to Purplebricks, of course they will, but only on Fantasy island. | stantini
04/12/2018 22:48 | rogthepodge you are either delusional or a bot or both. In a few days the vendors from the online failed companies will be singing their lungs out about the lack of service and the money they paid upfront and someone else trousered. Then there will be 500k wages that no one got paid at the end of November and the wages at the end of December - that no one will get. So a storm of vendors and ex employees is coming the online agent way and it is likely that the daily mail will run with the story. Let us see how high Purplebricks stock rises then. | stantini
04/12/2018 22:47 | Are you that thick? Shareprice is down 65%!! | elcapital2018
04/12/2018 22:42 | you believe what you like matey! | rogthepodge
04/12/2018 21:32 | its only inflicting damage on its shareholders dopey! | elcapital2018
04/12/2018 20:35 | hxxps://www.dailymai "the online estate agent was battling Purple Bricks" PURP seems to inflicting damage on its rivals, generally! | rogthepodge
04/12/2018 18:50 | for the whole thing? | elcapital2018
04/12/2018 18:32 | Emoov could probably be bought for $1.28 by PURP | buywell3
04/12/2018 15:31 | I predict.........a riot!! | philosopherad1 |
