It has been an expensive hold for me since I bought in looking for a reasonably safe haven. Any seasoned holders here have any ideas as to what's going on? I do note the shorts that appear to have been taken out but seems strange to be shorting such a strongly financed company

Perhaps it is far more simple atm and the main beneficiary of this improved interest in these shares has been for Invesco to sell down against. Can we imagine that they might pitch to sell as many of their holdings as possible at the 2.50 price being set - would reduce the chance of a dividend for those of us holding on and not selling?

So the market is pushing every last drop of the share price down to motivate some to sell and not hang on for the dividend. From what I read from other investor comments it is not that likely to work but I suppose they are going to want to try...

FT has piece today on bad time for hedge funds shorting UK mkt. Lists top 10 most shorted stocks and I spot PRTC in the list with 8.5% shorted.

It’s a tough one to call CEO is the only who announces that he will not tender so assume the others are tendering

The Company's Chief Executive Officer, Dr Bharatt Chowrira, has confirmed that he does not intend to tender any of his current individual beneficial holding of Ordinary Shares through the Tender Offer. The remainder of the Board, comprising the Company's interim chair and the Company's non-executive directors, are each considering their individual position and may tender Ordinary Shares of which they are the registered or beneficial holder, or otherwise hold on trust as trustees (as applicable), under the Tender Offer.

I am struggling to see the point in tendering any of my shares now. Mathematically removing 12% of shares in circulation should mean I am better off not tendering and if there is little take up then that news and a large special divi could see the share price rise substancially into x-div.

Another $5.4m cash incoming and i had our stake in the books at $3m so a very nice ROI. Puretech's stable is a gift that keeps on giving.

It would be interesting to know what Invesco intend to do. Not that there is any chance until after the event.

IMO, it is worth more than 2.50 so I will not tender my shares.

Everyone should be happy now, but i must admit at 2.32 the 2.50 isn't much of a premium any longer!

The CEO was already at the company in an executive role, so I doubt he would want to amend the terms (unless they have received feedback from institutional holders perhaps). The thing that has crossed my mind is that PRTC might be acquired which would perhaps also explain why Daphne chose to move across to Seaport.
