16/3/2020 12:33 | Just sold mine, in too soon last week = -25% | clinton baptiste
16/3/2020 11:50 | Erm...adding? | badtime
13/3/2020 17:32 | Action, I've added this week, perhaps too soon, well there no perhaps about it!. | essentialinvestor
13/3/2020 15:41 | EIsuch a good share with growth prospect in far east market has been thrown out of the pram. | action
13/3/2020 14:54 | Might also be worth keeping in mind that Pru, pre de-merger, got down to around £12.87 over the summer. So if you take £2 from that figure for MNG, that gets you to approx £11 and that £11 was before to an equity bear market. Just for some context. But Please DYOR!. And you are welcome. | essentialinvestor
13/3/2020 14:50 | Thanks Essential. Still in but its a bloody roller coaster. | pineapple1
13/3/2020 13:12 | One trade for me today here, reducing my holding cost by 11 pence a share. pineapple, I can't answer your question, or you may have just been thinking aloud?, but would hope Mr Loeb conducted detailed work before taking a stake. Posted a link to the letter Third Point sent to the PRU BOD - Best of luck, whatever your view. | essentialinvestor
13/3/2020 11:07 | pineapple, short covering at the open? - at a guess. | essentialinvestor
13/3/2020 10:47 | No; its just that this is a stock which is easy for people to sell and there is indiscriminate selling of stocks at present. | westofengland
13/3/2020 08:40 | hmmm.....up 10% on open and now turned red. Is something rather nasty hiding here. | pineapple1
12/3/2020 13:09 | bt, many thanks and luck with your holdings. This market decline has been frighteningly quick. | essentialinvestor
12/3/2020 12:55 | Hi EIForemost I wish you good health I bought a few at the beginning of the week thinking it was a good price ;)I'm beginning to think I might set my account with a few silly buy limits in small amounts in stocks like this and stop looking at the markets and get on with day to day life looking after loved ones ...more than anything to protect my mental health as much as financial.. I am down about 10% on the year but could cover half of that with last years unspent profit ..least I work out in the open ..but fear for those with jobs in the travel industry etc | badtime
12/3/2020 10:29 | Hi BT, a large holding for me now!. This year market has just pounced from nowhere. | essentialinvestor
11/3/2020 20:43 | Can't get them all right | badtime
11/3/2020 15:48 | Not my best timed entry )). | essentialinvestor
11/3/2020 13:06 | Right, that was dry!. From my notes fwiw ...$200 million annual interest savings on the debt passed to MNG, $170 million annual cost saving on operational costs post de-merger to come. PRU stress they like counter cyclical investment, they've done this in the past, re current headwinds. PRU BOD clearly taking Third Point seriously, as the presentation appeared to a answer the Third Point letter directly - all imv only, as always.. etc. | essentialinvestor
11/3/2020 11:44 | Just watching the call, CEO looks tired. Perhaps the result of Daniel breathing down his neck. | essentialinvestor
11/3/2020 10:12 | Your probably right there EI. | luderitz
11/3/2020 10:06 | Lud, reckon we would be north of £14 without coronovirus, with ease. | essentialinvestor
11/3/2020 09:48 | On the face of it and all things considered they don't look to bad to me, just think what the share price would have been if Con 19 had not arrived on the world scene. | luderitz
11/3/2020 08:38 | Results look OKisk on a very quick scan, referencing slowing sales growth re the virus in HK and China. Not sure how the market will react. | essentialinvestor
11/3/2020 07:09 | Yup, but only to lower the holding price. | essentialinvestor |
