I have complained to times editorial for not conducting proper conduct with full disclosure as two separate article - one sunday one mid week - both no mention of non standard finance connection

I have shares in pfg , mcl and nsf

have added to nsf with rns and increase from invesco plus times impact

also added larger amount to pfg - believe worth a lot more than current value - vanquais alone when investigation completed

Provident will not recover, warns ex-boss
Provident Financial is unlikely to recover from damaging changes to its agents network and has mishandled its problems, according to its former boss. As well as suffering a drop in collections in its doorstep lending business, Provident also has admitted that its Vanquis credit card is under investigation by the Financial Conduct Authority. “Vanquis is in trouble and there may be customer restitution and potential fines,” Mr van Kuffeler said.

Just to confrim that my PF17 bond holding has been fully redeemed at par & was received in my account on 6/10. Final income payment was received on 5/10.

Well ... given the loyalty of borrowers to the source of their needed cash, Provident have time to recover from the mess they made, without losing too much business. Ahead of the announcement, this looks like a good time to buy more at prices way down on what they will be in a few months, IMHO.

13 Oct 2017 - a week today - Q3 interim management statement. Should be interesting! They must have taken some positive action/made improvements surely?
