Good piece in Phoenix on Providence today. Wonders if Goodman has got his timing just right as usual? Reckons we could be looking at a 10 bagger if Providence brings Barryroe to development.

Yesterday the Germans stated that long term they will change to renewables , but for the next 2/3 years they will push ahead with fossil fuels to maintain the level of power generation required by their nation , now come on you Irish , shapeup and make some solid plans going forward.

redrob, no huge surprises there, I have had about half a dozen or more of those generic responses from Ryan in the last 12 months or so, I would suggest though it may be a different response in September when the CEPA energy security report is released, ..GL S

Ryan will in his twisted way take pleasure in the energy debacle that is about to descend on Ireland. He will see it as some sort of vindication of his anti fossil fuel stance. He is a millionaire eco zealot who cares not one jot for the people of Ireland, I doubt if he even cares for the country of Ireland, he sees himself as a global eco warrior,Ireland and it's people are collateral damage in his twisted mind. He is in my opinion of unsound mind, we have witnessed his unhinged behaviour on numerous occasions, his smirking colleagues in the parliament seem to have been amused by his rantings, when they should have been outraged. History will indeed damn Ryan but it will also damn the fools that facilitated him .

Newstalk this am was great. Irish Academy of Engineers saying new exploration licencez must be granted for oil and gas off irish coast asap. delusional to think renewables will come near providing energy requirements over next decade at least.
