Providence Resources P.l.c. have been informed by Kite Lake Capital Management (UK) LLP on 10 April 2018 that with effect from 9 April 2018;

Kite Lake Capital Management (UK) LLP now holds 30,197,712 ordinary shares of €0.10 each in the capital of the Company representing 5.05% of the issued ordinary share capital.

Wonder if they tabled a bid and were rejected? Wouldnt get a Board recommendation for a bid of less than 60p per share.

From Sunday Business Post - Tony taking - "Apec desperate to get equity in the company:

He has been even more careful not to strike any partnership deals that might have diluted any shareholder's positions. While the chinese consortium was, he said,"desperate" to get equity in the company, the deal ensures that if the drilling programme is sucessful, Apec will get to exercise a warrant to buy 60 million shares in the company at 12 cents - meaning they'll pick up a roughly 10% stake for seven point one million pounds. A successful drilling campaign will lift Providence's shares, O'Reilly said, so Apec is "going to make money, but our shareholders will also have made money because the value will be higher

The low risk of Celtic Sea venture could interest APEC. Hard not to imagine that APEC will bid for whole company before long.

And perhaps APEC also to work with Providence and COSL, who are signed up with NU O&G, and jointly to the move Helvick lease undertaking forward. Now Providence still have 56% of Helvick.

Steel, Chance to say more of Barryroe deal and development of Celtic Sea marginal fields. APEC have got to be trying to muscle their way into Spanish Point,Dunquin South and Newgrange.

yes, the selling pressure regarding the short team investors was quickly over. Now the focus is on the real value and the potential huge upside. 3 wells + possible 3 sidetracks are huge - and will for sure put a pressure of the share price upwards. Remember Barryroe has been drilled before and tested so it is a lot more safe bet than other exploration. Add the wildcats Newgrange and Dunquinn South - think a farmout of Newgrange could be a free drill + cash in the bank due to the low drilling price.

Last few days share price doesn't really respond to sells, only buys. Suggest severe stock shortage ? There's been some chunky buys gone through.

Tony doing his thang in de family paper today. Says there is interest in farming into Newgrange which is being seismically mapped this Summer. Is keen on advancing Dunquin South too. All that Chinese air has him energised and raring to go hard at things with the drillbit again...
