herm - good luck with your FOG. The wee South American developer I told ye about has kicked off operations with workovers and will be drilling with a vengeance as the year progresses. They will be bringing their road show to Dubs at some point if you are interested. They've brought on board a face you may remember, Geoff Probert, as COO.

oh & herm,

can one of you enlighten me as to the significance of 'this week'. I fully understand it's the end of Q1 but any news on Barryroe will be 'as and when appropriate'.

As I've read it, the only mention of Q1 was that they would be tendering for a rig in 'early Q1'. They may well have done that but surely they will have to know when they want it for before employing it. Therefore there's not much to be said until other matters are resolved.

There is no way they cant say anything this week and my view is that the party concerned with Barryroe cant raise the cash to follow through .We've been here before of course er... several times .
The only alternative for the delay IMV is a whole company takeover .
We will see this week one way or another.
