31/10/2017 07:51 | Herm - Totally agree re: only game in town, although at times it feels like Texas Holdem. I do believe though that PVR have the best hand at the moment, especially with BROE ;-) | stockriser
31/10/2017 07:27 | Stock,Tis the only game in town and now to complete the farmout! | hermana3
31/10/2017 07:17 | Yet more confirmation that the 2h 2018 gate is still open ; -) | stockriser
30/10/2017 16:18 | Steel, In full agreement with you on that, for sure. ATB, GD | greatfull dead
30/10/2017 12:40 | herm - Newgrange and Dunquin S. pencilled in ahead of Avalon, but a farm in necessary to facilitate. | steelwatch
30/10/2017 10:56 | GD,Nexen are next up to be followed by Avalon with luck! Wonder where big Hugh gets a dozen from.... | hermana3
30/10/2017 10:43 | roger, Too true re EOG RNS today. PVR have done all the hard work in the AM so far IMHO. Its about time others joined the show and gave the AM a lot more attention than they have done so far! ATB, GD | greatfull dead
30/10/2017 08:25 | "The diversity of play types as well as the potential volumes of hydrocarbons being targeted has attracted majors such as ExxonMobil, Statoil, ENI, BP, Nexen, and Woodside to the basin, initially via the Atlantic Ireland Licensing round but lately via farm-ins including Europa’s own LO 16/19 where the Company has partnered with Cairn Energy. As the number and quality of companies operating in the region has increased, so too has the number of work programmes that are underway, predominantly involving the acquisition and processing of 3D seismic. Europa expects this activity will lead to up to a dozen wells being drilled across the region over the next five or six years". EOGs comments this morning, quite an optimistic view. | rogerlin
29/10/2017 13:08 | FTJ,Putting some "flesh on the bone" is a must though..... | hermana3
29/10/2017 12:54 | Hmm...That sounds most promising! | funtimejonny
26/10/2017 19:13 | "Ongoing commercial discussions". Watch this space.... | hermana3
26/10/2017 17:39 | After that anonymous broker note appeared on LSE BB I emailed Fergus, asking if he could provide some clarity regarding BROE dates 18/19? - I got a reply from CR - They're not giving much away. -------------------- > Thank you for your email. > Apologies for the delay but I am out of the office. > I am sure that you can appreciate that we are not in a position to comment specifically on any market commentary however I can point you to the Interim Results RNS issued in September, where the Board confirmed that the planned window for drilling Barryroe is H2 2018/H1 2019. The precise date will be influenced by ongoing commercial discussions and/or consent timelines and as stated, further updates will be provided in due course. > Yours sincerely > Críona Ryan | stockriser
26/10/2017 17:24 | GD,Will need paperwork in by end of year to PAD. I see Brent Crude is sitting nicely at $58.64 which must please our pal Donald. | hermana3
26/10/2017 17:18 | Herm, I agree we must hear news of Barryroe drill in next 8 weeks or it is 2019 for that one. Saying that strange things do happen and if no news in the next 8 weeks a drill in 2018 is still feasible. Enjoy your evening all, GD | greatfull dead
26/10/2017 17:10 | Not much of a week here in Conference runup. Those drill duds sure has sucked life out of this share and we must hear news of Barryroe drill in next 8 weeks or it is 2019 for that one. | hermana3
26/10/2017 16:08 | GD,Good idea indeed and our friend Richie J could run his end from his yacht. You are proposing something akin to crowdfunding. Will mention this idea to TOR and JOS at Atlantic Ireland Conference next Tuesday and Wednesday. The Industry dinner on Wednesday evening would be ideal but no unwashed get to that event....Do they have a superior proposal knocking on their door currently? | hermana3
26/10/2017 15:48 | Herm, Maybe some wealthy PI here could form a company with a view to financing the next Rarryroe appraisal by farming in. I would re-mortgage my house, sell some of my stocks I hold in my portfolio to join them. That just may be enough to get me on the BOD too. I think Westie would make a good CEO and you the financial director. We would only need to be paid expenses to cover our visits to PVR HQ in Dublin and take no salary initially and work from our homes. I am sure if the company were set up, the proposed company could raise say £30 million easily. It would then be easy to negotiate a farmin into PVR. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated on the idea. ATB, GD | greatfull dead
26/10/2017 13:58 | But who else wants in on marginal Celtic Sea assets? | hermana3
26/10/2017 09:55 | Roger....tend to agree. They've not done a damn thing as far as making progress with Hook Head and Helvick. And their 2 year option runs out on Feb 28 next year. So 20 months of inactivity. | funtimejonny
26/10/2017 08:39 | The 5 year share price graph of NUOG is very similar to that of PVR. Better avoided IMHO. | rogerlin
25/10/2017 23:37 | SR, Any oil company with the money would suffice!!! Sleep well, GD | greatfull dead
25/10/2017 23:14 | Total for me ;-) | stockriser
25/10/2017 20:29 | Possible as well | spuddymadrid |
