07/6/2017 07:05 | Now that's one hell of an RNS - WAKEY WAKEY Edit: Not one but 2 - Happy days all | stockriser
07/6/2017 06:50 | Yes...All looking very positive to me, with the various elements falling into place. | funtimejonny
07/6/2017 03:44 | Edda Frende and Skandi Flora now down for 22/6 and Sjoborg still 21/6 on Westshore Ship Brokers web site. Also, the popup box on Marine Traffic after clicking the ship icon on the map shows Icemax status as "moored", and not "under repair" as it was the case before the sea trials. IMO, all looking good a spud sometime in last week of June to first week in July but it'll happen when it happens. Cheers. | isef0001
06/6/2017 21:06 | Interesting theory, you could well be right. | zhockey
06/6/2017 21:05 | I posted this a few days ago on iii. Not sure why there is still all this speculation on when drilling operations will commence? In the AGM announcement on May 24th, the Company said: “The Company also presented shareholders with an extensive update on its exploration & appraisal portfolio offshore Ireland, including detailing the positive financial impact of the recently announced commercial transaction with Cairn, as well as outlining plans for the upcoming Druid & Drombeg exploration well, scheduled for late June. A copy of the AGM presentation is available at providenceresources. | abudhabi123
06/6/2017 20:57 | Just a supposition on my part based on the above posts ... perhaps the repairs to the Icemax have been delayed. It would be usual for the Icemax to provision close to the drill site and therefore those provisions would perhaps be in the UK or Cork and now to save time and presumably money as it is far cheaper to higher a PSV than the Icemax to bring the provisions from the UK to Las Palmas. | jusmasel99
06/6/2017 19:32 | In between fighting Surfer for sambos and coffee. You just wouldnt believe how many sambos he can stuff into de pockets of his jacket. | hermana3
06/6/2017 19:29 | herm - was that snippet gleaned at recent sambo fest? | steelwatch
06/6/2017 19:22 | Steel,Rig rates start on July 1 so that is the must be drilling date! | hermana3
06/6/2017 19:17 | rog - according to Fearnley, Skandi Flora comes available 12/6 and is now shown as contracted to Providence from 19/6. (see page 2 of UK PSV Availability) Similarly, Sjoborg is shown as coming free on 9/6 and contracted to Providence 19/6 (see page 1 of Availability - Norway and Edda Frende, which is currently available, contracted to PVR on 21/6 These dates keep moving back until the rig arrives presumably. The outstanding requirement to run cargo to Las Palmas may just be a one off requirement to hurry things along. | steelwatch
06/6/2017 19:16 | Not often an Irish O&G Company heads winners list on AIM. JJ Teeling will be chuffed with todays Equatorial Guinea acreage awards for minnow Clontarf Energy. Might even hand out naggins of his Whiskey to all! | hermana3
06/6/2017 18:56 | Following a recent public procurement process, Providence and Sosina have appointed Senergy Wells Limited ("Senergy"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Lloyds Register ("LR"), to provide integrated well management services for the upcoming planned 2017 Druid drilling programme. Under the terms of the contract, Senergy will provide management and well engineering services for the design and construction of the Druid deep-water well under the LR Global Management System - Well Project Delivery Process, reflecting the best of industry practice and standards to provide safe, effective and efficient well operations. Does this include the support vessels? Seems a bit strange so far, vessels named (Skandi Flora), then released, now a PSV going to Gran Canaria. Normally the rig goes to the drill site and the PSVs support it there. | rogerlin
06/6/2017 17:59 | Some going on the defensive just in case corbyn gets in lol Doubt it but you never know. | ileeman
06/6/2017 17:37 | Tis a cracker this one...a wee cracker! | funtimejonny
06/6/2017 17:16 | Well, it seems election jitters may have caused some small cap flight to safety: Didn't follow the usual "sell in May and go away" pattern this year, so is it a case of "sell in June and come back soon"? | steelwatch
06/6/2017 14:45 | Another week or so bobbing about in Las Palmas it seems .... oh well ! | 1cagney
06/6/2017 12:36 | Consents in pocket so can now organise movement of Icemax. Irish Government do their checks n' balances these days. Has become an extremely rigorously regulated industry. | hermana3
06/6/2017 12:31 | rogerlin: If PVR are going to use the drilling crew from the Drillmax, and the drilling crew hasn't been changed before starting Fan South 1, then the crew won't be available until end of the month anyway. At least, a poster on ASX:FAR HC website, who attended their AGM, reported that their CEO, Cath Norman, had said the Drillmax won't be finished until end of June. No point setting off too early in that case IMO. There again, who knows! SNE drilling team might already be on r&r and waiting a call to mobilise to the Icemax. | isef0001
06/6/2017 11:29 | Providence Resources Ireland Cargo run to Las Palmas, D/D 11/06/17 Westshore more specific, why can't the wonder rig set off and meet the PSV half way? | rogerlin
06/6/2017 11:22 | Standby vessel booked - ESVAGT DON | steelwatch
06/6/2017 11:05 | 2 X PSV - SUPPLY DUTIES, 1 X C/R TO LAS PALMAS 11/06/2017 Platou has this as short term requirement this morning. I think they still have the Edda Frende, which is in Aberdeen, not sure what this new entry means, thought the Icemax could carry so much gear that it could economise on supply vessels! | rogerlin
06/6/2017 10:55 | less than 4 weeks to spud. Not long before this picks up. | ileeman
06/6/2017 10:51 | FTJ - would thing the two trades on LOGP were a rollover or 'bed n isa' trade. Figures match too closely. | ianio5691
06/6/2017 10:32 | Yeah...Didn't much like the look of them 2 trades this morning on LOGP either! | funtimejonny
06/6/2017 10:31 | 1cag: Not movie material but the last fews years have certainly been a soap opera. HaHa! | isef0001 |
