try looking at the oil price for a clue.

and bear in mind no one knows where that will go either.

It's dropping because many were expecting a ramp up and to top slice 50% getting a free ride for the results. Unfortunately life is not that easy :)

what is the point of asking?

do you really think anyone here knows?

There are several reasons why HUR has plunged, all to do with recent poor management decisions (mainly the warrants fiasco) rather than the POO.I got out reasonably timely there to come here, did not expect a drop like this PRE spud.WTF is going on...?

Oil explorer shares are generally not doing too well at the moment. Look at the recent action with the HUR share price It's been dropping like a stone.

I did mention, GD, some time ago that there was a "gap up" on the PVR candlestick chart in early March that chartists might say needs to be "filled".

V,

I too thought of topping up yesterday by selling one on my mining stock. Held back for some reason. Probably the bb uncertainty of Druid spud date re what is going on with the Icemax. Will top up if the share price continues to languish. Not sure if languish is to strong a word given PVR overall position.

ATB,
GD

poo dropped.

if theres any further inst. selling, the mm's would likely rally the price to find buyers to offload into.

Bought some more PVR stock today.

Still not sure if there will be an opportunist placing ahead of the drilling, but I don’t think the share price today would be much higher than a possible placing price, so in the event I probably wouldn’t be underwater very much.

The subdued share price is telling us something … maybe it was just the ii selling. But I am counting on the near term activity to balance / outweigh the risk.

Be lucky

herm I get that but the other majors might also wish to take some profit pre drill. Theres 600m shares out there. Probably just as well the share price is subdued or there could be a rush to the exit.

1cag,Cap finished selling current batch. Still got plenty of "skin in the game" here and paid low prices for their stock too.

1cag, Even "grumpyhole" Richie wants Icemax to find "Elephants" at Druid and Drombeg. Stranger things have happened....
