24/2/2017 14:07 | Cep, If worst comes to worst after Brexit talks start. We here in the UK have the technology to build facilities to grow summer veg. We have some green land also that could be used by the farmers that want to have a go. I am positive the current UK government would help financially too. I love my salads. ATB, GD | greatfull dead
24/2/2017 13:42 | Cep,Glad I am not partial to dat rabbit food stuff! UK needs a great leader like Donald John Trump to sort out immigration problem. Anybody other than Farage it seems..... | hermana3
24/2/2017 13:20 | Let's face it, not deal on Barryroe and we are scuppered even with a discovery at Druid - where we would have to rely on the fickle farm out market to progress things further. Anyway, a deal will come, I think we will have a nice summer of it! I think there is talk of PVR selling up completely after Druid, after all Tony alluded to all possibilities in the Nov presentation. As a footnote, I must point out that a tomato cost me 60p in the local Turkish corner shop. I was stunned. He said the prices of veg had gone mad, because Spain has a cold snap. Last wee the same tomato cost 75p, and the boxes are not selling. A lettuce £2 instead of 60p etc. So the Spanish caught a cold, and blame Brexit. What is going on! The same shopkeeper said that the UK would not have the problem we have now had we simply cut benefits (housing etc) because that is the single reason so many foreigners come from the world over. It was an interesting observation from the local Turk. Anyway, no-one is prepared to face the truth these days it seems. | cephalosaurus
