Abu, Bet Pat did not get him much joy as he is very experienced at dealing with shareholders particularly hostile ones. Looking forward to meeting Pat at 2017 AGM if we haven't been taken out beforehand.....

NG,Could Richard find a Counsellor worthy of the gig? . He flew too close to "The Sun God" and we know what happens in such a situation. Being scorned can be a hard thing to get over.

Cep,True but Richard has plenty of skin in the game and some influence due to his corporate credibility which separates him from many other posters who delight in battering CEO's and fellow posters and one suspects they barely hold enough shares to vote at an AGM!

I've only recently got in here so am well in the money, but I was in PCI and others where it became clear the assets wouldn't be monetised for the benefit of shareholders. I learnt not to fall in love with a company and to get out when the little voice in your head keeps trying to defend the company. People should have got out ages ago.

I'm here now because the company has a huge drill coming up. If Barryroe finally gets farmed out then that's a Brucie bonus.

Semi retired, self sufficient and with multi-homes doesn't tally with a clear obsession of and repeated posting (saying the same thing) about TOR.

Living life on your own terms? Yeah, ok.

Pauls,Posters here and what remains of privates wouldn't amount to much in % terms of shares issued. Richard has a few as does Abu but what other private holds above 500k? My holding has been routed by consolidation and dilution and wont amount to much of a gift to my heir as things stand. As always we are being seduced by mouthwatering numbers at Druid/Drombeg but those of us who have lingered since King Tony took de reins in 2005 are looking at these Druid dreams with jaundiced eyes. Phil O'Quigley got a bit defensive post 2016 AGM when challenged by moi on whether Druid is the correct choice for next drill. The fire in his eyes was not followed by a share purchase however but he may be precluded from buying due to Barryroe situation. One way or the other he is having a very good week....Nice guy deserves a break in this tough game.

I think all the regular posters are perfectly aware of the boards' failings, though it doesn't help for sentiment and is harmful to PI's investment to keep banging the drum here. I don't call reminders on a daily basis, alturism, I call it alterior motive, for example self promotion or something like that. Seen it so often on these boards. Charlatans! They are always trying.

I agree 100% with the last 2 points. Where have the rest of the posters that have been here, have you guys lost your memory or what?How could anyone defend daddy boy that has destroyed all early shareholders value in this company. This waste of space has to go and I'm with Richard 100% who seems to be the only person trying do get it done. I think there's a lot of waffling done here for years and it is really time some posters open there eyes.

All Tony The Suntanned Wonder has achieved is the almost complete destruction of any shareholder value .In real , concrete terms he's achieved absolutely nothing . Currently no farm-out , no production etc . Barryroe seems as a near to a farm-out as it was 4 years ago .How this guy has kept his job is the 11th wonder of the world

He is being kept in the manner he is accustomed to by the support of shareholders who have been diluted to hell and back .

Us shareholders having nothing to show for our investment, except heavy losses . If he had any semblance of integrity he would have fallen on his sword eons ago .

If not, with respect, shut it you sycophant and acolyte that cannot see what an abject disaster ToR Jr has been for ALL PVR shareholders. And if you disagree then simply look at the share price chart at the top right of this thread!

TOR is very well paid for his job which as we can see (judged by the market) has been a disaster for investors in the company. PVR reminds me of PCI where another 'big' and sadly overpaid CEO destroyed all shareholder value even though the Company had a 'world class' E&P asset. Let's hope history does not repeat itself here and that something is done to get this management to act in shareholders interests rather than just draw excessively generous salary packages.

Abu,The reign of King Tony began in 2005. He ascended to the throne(was a Director beforehand) when Phil Tracey departed after a "witches tit" at Helvick. I remember Phil's AGM in 2001 when the Annual Report was like a chinese takeaway menu but not nearly as interesting. All cheap paper and no images.
Agree Richie should spare us all the tittle tattle personal stuff on O'Reilly and his lifestyle as this is an investment and not a boring episode of the stinking kardashians.

Even for you Richie, you are getting to the point of paranoia. Do you spend all your waking hours like Sobeit looking up things on O'Reilly? ‎You are coming across as totally deranged. I know his wife's family and I remember when they bought the house back in 2005 - so I am not sure what relevance it has to a PVR BB in 2017? Was TOR even CEO of PVR then?

Your obsession with TOR is bordering on stalking. You have made your thoughts well known with all your open letters - clearly, the majority of shareholders don't agree with you. But if you want to continue with your ‎obsession, why don't you actually do something instead of all these baseless threats -- You have written to the Chairman, but you never posted his response. You mention calling an EGM, or taking a derivative action against the board (whatever that is?) and most recently, you wrote about the FSA and a false market..so if you truly believe all of this, stop your waffling and act -- or better still for those who do really believe in PVR and its future and who don't want to read all your negative nonsense, just get off your high horse and stay quiet - and then let's see what the next month or so brings - after all, they are going to have to publish their results for 2016 soon and clearly they are going to have update on all matters then, if not before. Once you have that information, instead of your ongoing speculation and threats, you can then decide what you want to do.

I have said it before - but will say again - you talking down PVR does no one any good - unless, you have an ulterior motive?

FT reports way above normal trade in call options in days running up to KraftHeinz hostile bid for Unilever. Advisers engaging in usual pillow talk? Will Nestle enter the fray as a friendly bidder and way more palatable than pennypinching KraftHeinz which has extremely unctuous Buffett as major contoller in chief!

I do not think I am anal retentive. Your no phycologist, I do know your closely related to one.

I do admit I do like things to be orderly. It because of the work I did and my education. At times it was very dangerous and I had responsibilities for the personnel I supervised when at work.

A very straight forward and proactive way to work. I don't work now but old habits don't just disappear.

She should be warned that GD is a wee bit anal retentive and likes things just so. He may not be as easy a client as her tanned husband was....
