03/2/2017 13:06 | Tis a nice Spring day in Washington and Super Donald and his able team are busy sticking it to those elitist liberals who have the stage to themselves since W went off to smell Napalm on the beach. Viva la Revolucion! | hermana3

03/2/2017 12:39 | Cep, Nothing not to like about PVR in 2017. The only thing I currently don't like is the weather here in the UK. ATB, GD | greatfull dead
03/2/2017 12:10 | The Druid drill is very significant for the whole industry and the whole of Irish Atlantic margin offshore drilling. The fact that the Schlumberger collaboration with an explorer is globally unprecedented, to analyse 3D data, means that data is very important. Otherwise, why wouldn't PVR rely on their own resources and why would a major be so interested? They can drill Druid now for less than 50 million (less than 25% of what it might have cost a year or 2 ago) and are in discussion for incremental costs farm out to continue drilling towards Drombeg. They have acquired a drilling unit and making it 'Drombeg' ready just in case while drilling Druid, those partners should jump in at short notice. And Barryroe; It cost $80 million for one appraisal well in 2012, while nowadays they are looking at $20million per well. That means any farm in partner can put down 3 appraisal wells for the same cost as the last exploration. What is not to like? | cephalosaurus
03/2/2017 11:20 | Yes 30%, however funds won't be the ones going over 30%. Given the institutional holding above I cannot see a takeover without an agreed offer happening. | ngms27
03/2/2017 11:16 | For me - Blackrock have a very good investment track record. Their presence is reassuring. | cephalosaurus
03/2/2017 11:12 | Yes. But don't know the precise rules. Anybody know when they have to launch a takeover bid? Is it 30%? | funtimejonny

03/2/2017 09:28 | Abu,We would be better off if you were in the hot seat! Need a closer here. | hermana3
03/2/2017 09:23 | Shares not exactly flyin off the shelf this morning. Another week gone by with no news. Roll on a takeover bid. | funtimejonny
03/2/2017 09:01 | Herm...I am not in the same league!!! | abudhabi123
03/2/2017 08:50 | Abu,You are in the air nearly as much as our permatanned superhero! Both of you comfortably ensconsed behind the curtain of course.... | hermana3
03/2/2017 08:30 | FTJ..I look forward to that. I shall be in London after here. | abudhabi123
03/2/2017 08:22 | Valid and subtle point Herm. No flies on you this bright and early morning ! Abu. May have to postpone next trip out to Costa. Have your details and will let you know how things pan out! | funtimejonny
03/2/2017 08:08 | FTJ,but they don't have to issue a RNS until their buy order is complete. Picked up 2.6m yesterday. | hermana3
03/2/2017 08:08 | FTJ, re RNS etc you are absolutely right. | abudhabi123
03/2/2017 08:06 | Hi FTJ...good morning, any plans to come this way soon, I am here until March 3rd. | abudhabi123
03/2/2017 08:02 | Hi Abu. I believe that the first threshold for issuing an RNS is 3% (18million shares) - then 5%. We may still be a tad short of that number, and yes....you are right Imo. The entity buying the shares has to inform PVR. | funtimejonny
03/2/2017 07:54 | 1cag..I stand to be corrected, but PVR will only issue an RNS AFTER they have been informed by an entity that they owe XYZ shares. | abudhabi123
02/2/2017 21:18 | Richie, I will have to take your word for that (as I don't have time to research it) and as I said 'Credit where credit is due' however even stockbrokers have rules akin to matching your buy calls with an equal amount of sell calls. Just saying ! | 1cagney
02/2/2017 21:10 | 1cag - we don't get em all right obviously (PVR for one!) but if we didnt get rather more right than wrong we wouldn't be in business! | richie666
02/2/2017 20:59 | Herm, So an rns is not only necessary from PVR re Capital shareholding but is a legality ? Richie, Credit where credit is due but I would think its fair that you equally publicise the negative aspects of your 'hot tips' Anyway if PVR share price goes where we all want it to go I'll join ye for beers in Dublin. (With or without the blac bush) | 1cagney
02/2/2017 20:42 | Keep yer eye on em anyways | richie666 |
