Hes probably sitting on his sun lounger in Malta sitting some Chablis and tucking into a Lobster Trermosthat as we speak. Sure he has the "Life o' Reilly"!

Bet Pat Plunkett wont roll over like old hillery did in the past when TOR's contract renewal talks begin(probably around now). Expect him to pin the tanned one's collar a wee bit but unless big holders are set against him it is a reasonable assumption to believe he will get another two years. TOR is like Enda and Donald, good when the pressure is on and can talk a good outcome even if he rarely achieves one. Cant remember a CEO getting booted off a board in Ireland since Maurice Pratt got the red from C&C Board for a series of awful decisions about 20 years back.

I don't think institutions invested the way they have recently done, without a view to getting a fair return and fair activity here. I cannot see how deal making actually affects TO'R in a negative manner. Surely he would have been without a job if money wasn't raised. That will be the case if Druid is a duster and Barryroe cannot be farmed out. Whereas, success on either will create stability for all.

Pageant has surely been kicking TOR for a fair while now and it has produced no real progress for PVR. With the POO seemingly steady over $50 there is less excuses the suntanned one can give for his own lack of execution. Surely it's time for the major shareholders to rejig the BOD. Just moving TOR aside would boost the share price markedly.VGLTA

funtimejonny- taking about Farm-outs, lets see what happens at Petro Matad...that share is so over valued at present and yet PVR seems not ..perhaps same uplift can happen for PVR too ? ...even so PVR is virtually all about Druids in the next 12 mths.

rog - Atlantic still seem to be functioning judging from this:

Assuming completion of all phases of the farm in by MFDevCo, and the completion of the assignment to Lansdowne, the revised equity ownership for Helvick would be MFDevCo (50.0%), Providence (31.2%), Atlantic Petroleum (9.2%), Lansdowne (5.0%) & Sosina Exploration (4.6%).

Even if MFDevCo has sorted out a Chinese backer, PVR still surely has to fund its share of any development here. Atlantic are not functional any more, what has happened to their interest?

Considering that there is zero valuation for BR in the share price, there is not much to lose is there.

I feel your pain Talkman. Such a long time has passed since this discovery was made nearly 5 years ago....and still the same old story of "interested parties in the data room" and "imminent farm out deal". Another week passes us by and still no deal on Barryroe. A tale of woe for PVR and LOGP investors.

Would be best to have shares in PVR than none. We could get news at any time, and if you are out you will miss it.

Barryroe is a great asset ummm. Yes , the industry is falling over itself to do a farm-out deal !

With the increase in poo has come renewed interest in capex within the oil industry. Last 2 years must have been virtually impossible to negotiate a farm out. The picture is now far more favourable.

Barryroe is a great asset and unless you think they are lying then it will be farmed out

It's pretty obvious that that a Barryroe far out is never going to happen . How many years has TOR strung this fantasy . We are nearly in Feb and still no news . The whole company's future survival is being hedged on a highly speculative exploration drill this summer .

TOR has fairly thick skin as nothing seems to get through it. Might be a consequence of all the suntanning treatment he has to constantly endure though!.VGLTA
