RP let’s see if they have anything to add tomorrow ,I am of course not happy with what’s happening , they now need to let some of the promise come home for us pi’s although I believe they are powerless in the arrangement with DSM but that was of their own making , if approvals have passed SAMR they need to let the market know so the share price can achieve a realistic level ,all the secrecy is not helping their case .

winner31 - it might be nice but let's be hinest. He earns £120k a year for managing the administration of patents and maintaining the comms with By-Health.
He has just been awarded 50m options at 0.3p with no detail given on the performance required to achieve them.
That is frankly unacceptable. These guys are issuing paper like confetti.

Nice to see IF buying 5m with his own money! I wouldn’t think the placing shares would be set below this ,unless IF is an idiot which I don’t think he is !

Agreed , if that happens in the next 6 months then ,raising funds will be no problem ! They certainly didn’t want the share price to rise until they got their options ,maybe the reason for lack of news !

winner31 - as he clearly does not even understand the purpose of the filter function
i would wager you are correct.

Next material news should be SAMR approval.

This is worth less than £300k in a fire sale and I doubt they would get that unless there is ZERO debt and they can flog the shell.

MARKET CAP IS NOT A COMPANIES WORTH CHUM.

fwiw - Cut and paste of what I've said elsewhere follows ...

We're away at the moment, so I've only had a fairly quick skim of the results.

On the face if it, unless I'm missing something, everything is pretty much as indicated in the Trading Update and subsequent By-Health RNS, which, given they were fairly recent, is to be expected.

I think they've been slighty more specific on the timing of the next fund raise this time out ( in the coming six months as opposed to in the coming months ), which I'd take as a slight positive compared to the trading update.

I might stick the numbers on FF+ into a calculator later this week to see what sort of GM we got in the last FY, and also to try and work out what ( If any ) contribution it actually made to our cash flow.

Results out - further fund raising which we all knew about.Should be a fairly limited one though as we are not having to finance the MOU.
Roll on the SAMR approvals.

Buywell i do hope you have taken a position old chum? You helped me clear my mortgage

I think By-health can see some future in sports nutrition. “. Introduction

Sports nutrition food has been growing in China at over 40% for the last few years and is conservatively estimated to be worth over 200 million USD. More and more foreign food companies show their interests in this promising market and planning to export their sport nutrition food to China. However, here come the questions: What is the definition of sport nutrition food in China? What are regulations for sport nutrition food in China? What shall companies do to export the sport nutrition food to China legally? This webinar will answer those questions and explain in detail about the regulatory compliance process for sport nutrition food. ............................................................................."

And from the last Rns “It is envisaged that projects conducted under the agreement will be focussed on specific areas of commercial focus for By-Health, and the first project which has been agreed will concentrate on the use of Fruitflow with nitrates in exercise, an area of considerable commercial interest to By-Health in China”

We have consultants, but don't have any staff, so I'd hope updating the general news section on the website is just something Ford does in the odd 10 to 15 minutes here and there. It's presumably updated using a Content Management System ( CMS ) so wouldn't need a techie to do it. If you can format a simple Word doc, then you can use a CMS !

I havn't a clue how often Ford'll be off to China, but, given the contractural stuff is sorted, I'd guess O'Kennedy ( and possibly Dutta Roy ? ) will be clocking up more air miles than Ford , though, once you're up and running on most projects these days, you can do a lot via Skype.

Hopefully we'll have more concrete info when the results come out in the next few weeks. Everything sounds positive, I just wonder about the timescales and how many more times they'll have to tap the market / placees for cash before our cashflow becomes strong enough ( or looks likely to becone strong enough ) to drive the share price forwards sustainably

Bareknee I see what you are saying and perhaps that is what’s happening , I just assumed it was some technical person somewhere doing the updating and not Ford ,as I assume he must be very busy at the moment probably flying to China and back on a weekly basis I would think.

You're probably right in much you say there on the placing front, but I don't recall any non-RNS news items having an effect on the spot, so I doubt there's a news blackout as such ?

If Ford is working on raising funds ( and actually, we pretty much know he is, we're just not sure on the exact timescale ), then he's probably not got the time, or the inclination, to update the web site with stuff which, lets be honest, is pretty much trivial really

Gixer. My guess is that they are trying to get away a placing at about.3p hence the shortage of any news , as it is a limited funding probably £150-200k so about 50- 85 million shares just my opinion of course , full year results in Sept so hopefully an update on that .

Winner, My guess is that we will only be told when or if ff is approved although I hope I am wrong and they do give "as much information as" they "can with regard to the timing of this commercially sensitive and potentially transformative process."

However, there is other information that I think we could be told about.

2 blue cap submissions were on the cards this year. (from half-year report)

Have any of the 2 been submitted yet?

Out of the 27 health function claims in China what ones (if any) have been applied for? None seem that suitable except for 1 maybe???

The link you provided regarding new health functions is imo great news although it will not come into force until October 2019.

Is by-health going to wait till this comes into force before submitting?

Bottom line is, I feel we are very much in the dark regarding the whole process.
