PUGUGLY - I find that so annoying.

Many of the articles on companies in this sector are woefully under researched.

And BTW - you and tenapen are relative 'new boys' :-)

Morning PUGUGLY, this is where I being a stupid building worker has its advantages over a person who needs to type in all of the facts and figures and get the correct answer.

I see hydrogen as part of the clean energy revolution. Fuel cells are a section of this. I choose PPS because it's German, the best engineers imho.
That's it, pps is my fuel cell pick - simple.

I wrote earlier to you about the director holding so many shares in pps would be seen a negative in the city ! I guess as there will be no hostile T/O or sweeteners to the men in suit's !. I hold Jim who also have the same situation with Sion holding so many and for me it's the rock behind my more riskier companies like pps. When a family (in the case of Jim) hold so many they are not going to take undue risks for a bigger bonus ! They are in it for the long term. Phe and the white family 'may' turn out to be in the same bracket.

Regards.

hi tenapen - You have been around almost as long as myself - Well done for holding so long - The difficulty I find with the whole sector is that sometimes it is in fashion and then the sector is no longer fashionable with swings of 25%+ either way.

Then, within the sector, there are break-through technologies - if one is lucky the company in which one is invested makes the breakthrough - if not then potentially a very unhappy bunny - Also even if you are holding a breakthrough can take many years to build revenue and profit. (Examples SCE - looks as though it may be there now but major contracts still have to be signed - or ITX - bounded ahead having left the dung-heap that was Woodford and appears to be gaining very significant traction but (imo) potentially at significant risk if the next trading update does not meet expectations)

PP has been on watch-list for ages BUT while very much in the right area is a relative minnow (even with the high level of debt) and easily squashed by a major able to invest many times PP's valuation in research and development with what to them is petty cash.
OK might be cheaper to buy the company apart from the NIH syndrome.

The other problem for many (including myself) is lack of expert knowledge of the competitive technologies in the fuel cell sector and which are perceived as the most competitive.

The average city scribbles have not a clue in this area. (imo)

Daltry,
As your last post was incorrect in every point you make. At least your consistent. It is not just the pps share price that has fallen, if it was I would share your concern. Look around then breath easy.

I hold k40+ shares from a low of mid 20s up to 107p. I have never sold a pps share ( Dh'o ) and from being well in profit I and now in the red. Prices go high and fall back, that's shares for you. If you have a desk job ! It's possible to keep an eye on prices and react. My job is manual and so not a option. My investment style is to pick a company and drip feed money over many years. Of the seven companies I hold, I have held four of them for over a decade. Not bad considering everyone's a day trader now a days.

I am still bullish on the clean energy revolution and we are just at the start imho. No need to panic and I will continue to drip feed my small top-ups into pps and two others when funds allow.

Always do your own research, and never gamble more than you can afford to loose.

Good luck, All

Dancing P, Still here looking to add, as unlike some I take long term positions, haven’t posted much as I have been accumulating Btc and other cryptos of the last 6 months, which has been very rewarding & I have been acquiring Gold as the Fed is recklessly printing more and more FIAT..it’s good to have a diverse investment portfolio

I will look at support levels here but keen to add 40/45p area

Checked charts, 52p has been lost, so caution ahead, needs to reclaim that support level for a few weeks before going long, if not wait for lower entry opportunities imo

Don't anyone listen to the sycophant,' tenapen'. He probably works for PPS and can't explain the huge drop in share price over the last few months. Just look at the graph! He's probably short. Maybe 3'4" Ha Ha!

Thank you for having joined our webinar “Fuel cells and their role in the automotive sector” as one of 928 webinar attendees from 38 countries.

We even had participants from Japan and Australia with us although it was already nighttime there. That's what I call commitment! You stay up late or wake up early for the Mission Hydrogen webinars :-)

We discussed what role fuel cells can play in the automotive industry and our expert of the day, Matteo Schmid from Proton Motor Fuel Cell GmbH led us through this interesting topic with insights and case studies towards a green future of fuel cells in the automotive sector.

A huge thank you to you as a participant. And if you were one of the participants from Asia or Australia a special thank you for staying up late :-) We support the activity and interactivity of our hydrogen community in the chat and in the Q&A discussions. I believe this really helps the hydrogen community in general.

If you want to get the recording and the slides of this webinar, as well as access to all other webinars of 2021, please have a look at our Mission Hydrogen Webinar Collection 2021:

Best regards,
Silke

In 2021 pps have issued two new order RNS's and one trading update.

The share price never hit 150p

If you had watched the webcast yesterday you would have seen nothing but positive facts. The slides and information for the clean energy sector (as a whole) going forward was fantastic.

As always - do your own research - make up your own mind .
