I think the 7.40 release means this is off the radar, wait until later when it’s noticed

Royalty revenues are received in arrears, well of course they are. They couldn’t very well be received ahead of the game.

That they don’t know what they are from their only worthwhile customer prior to informing the market is astounding.

Equally astonishing is that they found it worthwhile reporting that hundreds and hundreds of thousands of pounds had mysteriously appeared in their current account without any need for explanation.

There was no analysis peverill, just a statement re royalty revenue recognition, which totally supports what I said

I suspect Jeffian and Golly, despite trying to be clever, are missing that it is royalty revenue in arrears, not sales
Hence, they are confused and wrong - imo,but maybe these 'experts' will clarify

Jeffian, you may be misinterpreting

Sufficiently predictable royalty revenue is recognised on an accrual basis
PRM will have predicted... and more recently after being told the actuals, true'd up, resulting in the change and related statement re profits

What then do you suggest I have wrong??

doc,
Everything you have said from "A...." onwards is completely at odds with your opening statement that "Anyone with basic experience of real world finance will know". I can't remember your experience of public company accounts. I thought you wrote reviews for learned scientific journals?

No jeffian.
Mocking a moron, yes

Golly, it is imo perfectly normal for true-ups to be made that can be materially different from estimates.
Royalty figures typically come in arrears and PRM cannot simply ask for them early in the naive way you suggest.

I fear the avatar is too busy pretending not to to have noticed that his only holding has failed to announce that they have secured the funding they promised by today.

Hoi.

This is a very great company, this is. Possibly the bestest, or one of the best on AIM. Sure, they may have got little details wrong here and there in the past - but that is all behind them now.

Fire up the olde goat calculator Richard. I certainly wouldn’t want to be out of this over the weekend.
