Proteome Sciences and Thermo Scientific are gearing up nicely for large scale automation. It won't be long before they announce a 96-plex TMTpro set of reagents, as 3 x modified 32-plex TMTpro is not a difficult step.

Under United States patent law, the term of patent, provided that maintenance fees are paid on time, is 20 years from the filing date of the earliest U.S. or international (PCT) application to which priority is claimed (excluding provisional applications).

The following Proteome Sciences patent was filed on May 27 2016 with life cycle of 20 years gives an expry date of May 2036
