Very quiet indeed!
Current share price is a real bargain. It has been dragged down by the market slump and does not reflect the true value of the business. I would love to top again but have no spare cash at the moment. I am patiently waiting for the sort of news that will push to price up to 60p plus.

Recent interim results showed small profit on low turnover (no disposals 1st half) They have maintained 0.5p div. Accounts look very healthy with plenty of potential, they just need to speed up the deals a bit! At current price they are very low risk and cheap. One decent deal and the price could move quickly.

Gavis,

Thanks for that - in many ways it doesn't surprise me because I had heard negative rumblings about Ikea's business.

An article in a local newspaper today that Ikea have withdrawn plans to build their distribution centre at PROP's Stanton site. Therefore they have not taken up their option to purchase the site. I thought PROP might have issued an RNS today regarding this.

I though that Ikea taking up their option may be a spark for the share price to start moving in the right direction.

May not be too bad news for PROP in the long run as I am sure they will have other options for the site, but short term IMO it will not help the share price.

At least this mornings news shows that they are not asleep and hopefully more good news will come and the share price will continue to recover. Interim due next month is very important.

Space,
I have had difficulty getting decent news on IKEA performance, do you know a good source? In the Hardman report they think the site could be worth even more if IKEA pull out because of it's planning permissions. I am already sitting on a loss on PROP so I'm thinking to buy back in now and cover my losses with a relatively small increase in the share price - I know it is perhaps not the sensible thing to do but I feel it is a good risk. I think the share price would be fairly valued at around 60p

I am probably going to buy in the next couple of days. There should be some news on the Colsterworth site purchase anyday soon and possibly IKEA. The share price looks too low if these deals come off and even if they don't the share price should still be at the bottom.

They look excellent value at the moment. I can't believe they can drop any lower. NAV of 32.4p in 2006 based on undervalued assets. Look at Hardman&Co research last month.

Problem is no visibility of earnings - feast or famine.

Sold out back in the 60's some months back; watching for a re-entry point.

Good intrinsic value but it's a long game with this one.

Big selling yesterday, to which the share price seems to have responded today - presumably an RNS due soon re holdings, if nothing else.

Morning Slap,

Can't recall seeing you here before. I got out of PROP a while back, largely because of the mix of inactivity combined with it's enigmatic nature. Have recently noted the drift and am seriously considering reboarding because like you I feel that it could have virtues.

a company like this has no visibility... no estimated NAV... lumpy earnings... and slow growth prospects given the capital intense nature of its business....

but a low risk too.... one for the very patient in my view and not one the stock market will fall in love with yet.....

The news I am hoping to hear is that they have sold the Stanton site to Ikea - their option runs out in Dec07. Also the deal for Colsterworth should be completed this month. The director share buys and the share movements between the Rackhams must be positive signs. They also should have some other deals in the pipeline.
