05/11/2010 12:07 | This share price is so volatile - slightest open mkt buys and it's up. | spaceparallax
04/11/2010 15:55 | I wonder - were PROP to have been approached concerning purchase one of the sites, would they need to reveal that to the mkt or would they be allowed to keep it under wraps until some meaningful form of agreement is signed. | spaceparallax
04/11/2010 15:34 | Looks like Paul Rackham is trying to take the Company private - presumably he sees the land portfolio as worth many times the MCap. Just managed to grab another 10K, which was flippin' hard work and wallet-breaking given that I had to shell out 17pps compared to the meagre 14.5p that our Paul got his recent 5.3M for!! It'll be interesting to see what he has to shell out for the remaining 20% shares - I believe we could see some serious share price action here. | spaceparallax
14/9/2010 10:43 | Perhaps - but it won't be a buyout unless the Rackhams want it. | spaceparallax
13/9/2010 17:58 | up 23% today !! something brewing ? | yellowdog
02/9/2010 15:44 | less than £4,500 per acre, then ( ie, 36.2m Ords @ 10.5p = £3.8m / 855 ), isn't that less than agricultural ??; stated NAV is c 28p AFTER provisioning + it's VERY modestly geared. fancy this for a triple-bagger ( IMHO ), but it's not easy to deal ( there's a 65% + family holding, recently increased, ) & will only work for 'buy & hold' investors as it's impossible to forecast as to when it's clear intrinsic value might be realised. | the troll
27/8/2010 15:29 | This is valued at only £3.8m yet has 346 ha of land with planning permission!!! and a rental income. It's got to be a bargin-"cheap as chips" | yellowdog
27/8/2010 13:12 | Good and solid | spaceparallax
30/7/2010 14:30 | don't understand today's dramatic dip in share price | spaceparallax
21/1/2010 10:04 | Anybody still here? If so, have you noticed the unexplained rises in CHI? And could perhaps explain them? | asmodeus
08/1/2010 08:32 | 1 year of no posts. One wonders why the company bothers to be quoted. Oh well, back to sleep until next year !!! | pugugly

26/6/2009 06:59 | NEW THREAD: LONG TERM UK PROPERTY PRICES QUOTE /G0ldfinger/ ============ Things, periodically, become over- or undervalued. You just have to find out when exactly what is the case. It's not really rocket science. Here, a long term chart that shows you when houses are over/undervalued with respect to gold. It's easy, isn't it? UNQUOTE =================== That's a great chart. I always like seeing it, when it is updated. Maybe we should start a thread here (something like this one) on Long term House prices. Anyone else interested in that idea? 06/5/2009 13:48 | Apparently results have just been made public, unbeknown to me. Edit - I think the poster who said results just issued is mistaken. The Dec 08 results were announced here on April 3rd. I phoned the Co. today, and a representative assured me that negotiations are still continuing on resolving the LTV problem, and there has been no known news that might have invluenced somebody to but 50,000 shares at 10p yesterday morning, or anything else that might have caused the 2225% rise yesterday. So it seems that that buyer is just guessing that everything is going to turn out O.K.! | asmodeus
05/5/2009 20:46 | Further to above re CHI I still can't find any justification for the 50% rise on friday, plus final 225% more today. (I'll try phoning the Company tomorrow). So without public information, the words "insider" and "dealing" could spring to mind, should a previously unpublished reason be announced soon? | asmodeus
05/5/2009 13:29 | CHI is now up no less than 233.3% !! Anyone know why? | asmodeus
05/5/2009 09:58 | XXIC - AIMs biggest faller last year down 98%. Off lows of 7p to 30 ish now | pelleeds1980
05/5/2009 09:55 | CHI (Close High Income) - up 50% on Friday, and now a further 100% today with no explanation, and hence no "bullet-points". But is anyone looking at this thread anyway? | asmodeus
17/4/2009 08:40 | REO up 18.3% this morning. Why? Edit- to try and find out, I phoned Chairman Ray Horney, who says he knows no reason other than the shares, as with his other company CREO, have been grossly oversold, and perhaps people are beginning to see "light at the end of the tunnel". I asked if there have perhaps been reassuring revaluations since the last one, shown in the latest report, and he said no. P.S. MERE also up again + 11.8% at 14.41 today. Edit : look at the spread - NIL, as I write! (46.25/46.25) ! Edit again - that soon changed. 43.75/46.25 now. | asmodeus
16/4/2009 18:00 | Matrix European (MERE) up 14.3% today - but bullet-points have I none. | asmodeus
16/4/2009 08:46 | CHI (Close High Income) is up 14% this morning. They announced NAV yesterday (qv), but I'm afraid the implications regarding "interest rate swap liability" are beyond me, but are presumably favourable in view of the share price rise. | asmodeus
