03/12/2010 14:55 | If this is just a blip the BoDs should be buying, if they don't then follow their lead.....avoid or sell | deanroberthunt
03/12/2010 14:50 | Having just started to look at the company very easy to see how can go from Hero to Zero - The Company web site apears to break the 1st rule of marketing - No price indications that I could find in respect of how much the products/systems cost, and/or how much budget should be allowed per pupil. I many be wrong and looking in the wrong place. If so can anyone who knows this company better advise where product pricing is located on their web site. | pugugly
03/12/2010 14:27 | having read the Fool article, I must concur, how can it go from ok to dire in 5 weeks.....the market is about honour and trust, and the market clearly have had as much as they can stomach. | deanroberthunt
03/12/2010 13:45 | Good article ChrisB. For me, regardless if there's growth here or potential - there are hundreds of opportunities out there, is it really worth the headache? Even if you're determined to be a part of the growth story here (if you believe in it), I don't see why it's worth holding right now. I'll be keeping tabs on PRW, will remain neither short or long (I've never had a position in PRW, just worries and doubts) but will wait to see if this turns around in 2011. Good luck to everyone, especially the ones still holding. | markrogers88
03/12/2010 13:23 | See they've come to their senses too. Have to agree entirely. High risk, definitely, and not worth it imo. | chrisb1103
03/12/2010 13:20 | I think fall is overdone so I got a few. A bit of a punt really but the share price had already collapsed before todays news. | hugepants
03/12/2010 13:04 | Goes to show the whole industry knows fek all about fek all. Private equity got out nicely and sold the market a real lemon. Fund managers pile in, wasting their clients money. Nomads etc get all their fees. A company shouldnt float and be 75% under the issue price in just over 6 months. World hasnt altered that much in 6 months, bearing in mind that very few floats got away at all this year. Has a bad smell to it. | stegrego
03/12/2010 12:46 | This is a real shame, like I said a few weeks ago. I hope nobody has lost too much on this one, it's never pleasant to see other investors getting burned by going against the market. I always say, you learn a lot from these sorts of losses, you've just got to pick yourself up and vow to never make the same mistake again! | markrogers88
03/12/2010 11:57 | wouldn't be surprised to see this back nearer 70p by close. | deanroberthunt
03/12/2010 11:50 | Smith99 youre absolutely right, i still think there's value here but you cant go against the market and that absolutely dreadful chart which shows now sign of reversing the trend. There could even be worse news to come here driven by further US budget/spending squeezes. Ive finally come to my senses, there may be a bounce but i see this lower from here which is why "im out" as they say. Avoid imo - save yourself the worry. | chrisb1103
03/12/2010 11:43 | agreed, however the market just doesnt like the company, shares prices are ultimately based on the perception of the masses rather than the physical fundamentals. There's money to be made here IMHO but now isnt the right buying time (for me anyway) | smith99
03/12/2010 11:36 | the compnay is still growing, revenues and ebitda are up from 2009 at interims nay on 50%....it's just not growing as fast as forecasted, so one could infer the forecasts were over optimistic......i think the 30% fall is way ovberdone on the statement. | deanroberthunt
03/12/2010 11:31 | I dont hold, and still maintain not doing so until a breakout is shown on the chart, however the company is still in better shape that how the market is perceiving it. I'm not ready to buy yet, but this one is still on my radar. GL2A Holders | smith99
03/12/2010 10:52 | Cash at half year was £16.2m. At 30th September cash was £14.4m after paying a dividend of £2m and the first installment on the acquisition which was I think $9m. | kimboy2
03/12/2010 09:59 | They don't have cash 16Mil, they paid the dividend from that cash. So they are down to £14 max, I'd say the "exceptional charge in the fourth quarter." will suck that down further. I would not expect a dividend. | offler
03/12/2010 09:58 | Well, i'm out first thing this morning. Second loss here - dreadful. I beleived in the growth story and the management and have now got burned for it twice. I say absolutely avoid, why risk money here when there's so many better opportunities elsewhere? The market hates PRW, the chart says it all. | chrisb1103
03/12/2010 09:54 | they state that they currently capture less than 0.1% of Global e-learning expenditure......... | deanroberthunt
03/12/2010 09:49 | What I don't understand is why are they not pushing into the business world? Even they admit they are getting interest from that angle. | offler
03/12/2010 09:44 | PUGUGLY that is my only worry. | offler
03/12/2010 09:41 | Dividend will presumably be cut or frozen to save cash for what could be a bad year in 2011? | offler
03/12/2010 09:38 | another figure, it's operating off 3x EBITDA Burger King was bought for 9.2x EBITDA and had a large debt pile | deanroberthunt
03/12/2010 09:38 | Anyone any idea as to the potential size of the market and how much has much has already been taken? I suspect that as the white board is a capital item with what should be a very low replacement rate once the "early adopters" have trialed the rate of sales growth will slow significantly (this appears to be the message given by the rns) so significant downsizing will be necessary (as already indicated in the rns)and the company and Market will have to learn to live with a lower level of sales. Anyone know if there are any useage problems ? | pugugly
03/12/2010 09:31 | NAV of £205m | deanroberthunt
03/12/2010 09:24 | My view and taking into account the cash....I believe she'll deliver an EPS nearer 9/10p....say 9.5p....giving a current pe of 5.5 | deanroberthunt
03/12/2010 09:20 | £197.3m of revenue was already in the bag by 30 September 2010 according to the 28 October statement. | fishbournetrader |
