18/11/2010 09:21 | Here are 3 latest forecasts for 2010 and 2011 10-11-10 BUY 33.10 11.40 2.90 39.60 13.70 3.50 08-11-10 BUY 34.13 11.80 2.76 36.19 12.56 3.23 28-10-10 ADD 30.90 10.60 32.10 11.20 I would not be in a hurry to buy here yet, whilst a 3p dividend looks a safe bet it is not a yield play equally shorting risks burnt figures on these figures. I mentioned early on that GS had got a lot of hedge funds on the register for their fat fee rather than the long term holders the company wanted, my guess is that there are weak and disillusioned holders willing to dump into any rally. | gopher
18/11/2010 08:49 | looks decent value here, am gonna pick a few up | empirestate
17/11/2010 18:53 | Yes gopher, a bit mad eh, no profit warning! but i'm sure one is now well an truly priced in. The reality however, is in fact first-half revenues were up 35% and eps up 48% and after 9 months ytd revenues were still up by 25% to GBP193.7m compared to GBP154.5m. There's even a net cash position of GBP14.4m at 30/10/10 From 28/10 interims... "We are confident of sustaining solid revenue growth for the fourth quarter and for 2011. We are managing our operating cost base accordingly and, together with our ability to further leverage scale economies, we are therefore confident of delivering further good earnings growth going forward." And for now broker forecasts seem largely positive, at 75.5p they look like: Year End Revenue Pre-tax EPS P/E PEG EPS Grth. Div Yield 31-Dec-10 250.64 32.08 12.54p 6.0 0.2 +35% 2.92p 3.6% 31-Dec-11 269.32 35.92 19.25p 3.9 0.1 +54% 3.25p 4.1% Numis says buy after the 3Q interims and has a target price of 134p The notoriety of the worst IPO of 2010 is rapidly becoming a bizarre value trap for those who still see value here. Clearly over-valued at the float, it clearly is good value now for the medium-long term. Having been in and out before (for a loss of course) I now hold again from 90p. Even with more conservative growth forecasts the P/E still seems way too low - we're still seeing good earning growth going forward. It's still clearly getting a kicking because of the audacity and wild expectation of a private equity IPO, and with a chart like this it's an easy short let's face it... But... it has great products as i know the huge benefits it brings to education, it's a well run business with costs under control and an ambitious sales strategy, i believe in the growth potential (only 7% of the world's classrooms are equipped with an interactive whiteboard - and this really is the future of world classroom education) and i also believe that education budgets will be afforded some protection in the US as they have here (too important not to, but I accept it's the uncertainly the market really hates which is really dragging us down). So I'm still left thinking, this has to turn up soon? (in fact i'm rather banking on it) but I can't be the only one either invested or waiting on the sidelines... i think there will be better news coming, let's get this poor start of a year under our belts and maybe the market will see the value here. I'm prepared to wait and see for now. | chrisb1103
17/11/2010 17:38 | Another all time low at 75.5. The stock now has a certain notoriety as the worst performing IPO of 2010, there must be holders who want to see it off their portfolio list by year end? Its clear that prospects were not as rosy as painted in the prospectus (see comments above) but we are now at 38% of that price without a formal profits warning. | gopher
11/11/2010 08:59 | Made the same mistake with Patientline - I'll never learn!! Lack of white boards I guess! | trelyn
10/11/2010 19:46 | Anyone remember Screen Plc? Another one product technology company which was going to rule the World... | farnesbarnes

03/11/2010 23:27 | Its just curious though that despite all of that hanging over them, they are actually doing all right and yet their share price is very low, on my chart (prev post) I would need to see a breakout above the upper line before dipping my toe in the water. | smith99
03/11/2010 18:40 | Given the end users of the technology are primarily schools and Colleges, who are facing significant (up to 25%) real term funding cuts over the next 4 years, I expect there will be a huge impact on companies like this, which will either impact on sales, meaning they will have to cut their cloth accordingly, or margins, which similarly will affect profitability over the medium to long term. One to avoid for me. | saint or sinner?
03/11/2010 18:31 | Great buying oportunity today for the brave, this has to break out of this decline soon surely. I really cant see why the decline continues other than the overhanging threat of global doom and gloom and non essential things like this being cut from budgets. Even so there has to come a time when the price just becomes too temping to the market. Would be nice to see that tender come to an order. | smith99
03/11/2010 16:56 | Wow! Promethean has closed higher than it opened. What does this mean?! | fishbournetrader
02/11/2010 15:54 | I can buy 10K @ 88.098 ..... Q | quidzinn
02/11/2010 10:23 | is there any end in sight to this carnage in the price? Looks like its almost touching the lower trendline? | madfool2002
01/11/2010 19:47 | I am looking to add to my holding to average down but not sure we have hit the bottom. Scary chart pattern | rathkum
01/11/2010 18:32 | The USA comments couldnt have come at a worse time. The markets were never going to embrace that release, why do I get the feeling they were oblivious to what these comments would do? | gorvachof
01/11/2010 14:00 | I initially purchased shares after the IPO. The prospectus read well and the future growth looked excellent. I actually chose PRW over Supergroup... Having been stopped out on my initial purchase at 1.80 I've watched these fall and indulged in a few short term SB trades. Like most posters on this board I think this has potential as a fantastic growth company and at 90p I'm now back in. Guess most people have called this share incorrectly all the way down - hopefully it'll not have much further to go before we see it coming back up ? | adc4
01/11/2010 10:13 | Can anyone interpret the stream of very small sells going through? Very odd. | the other kevin
31/10/2010 16:22 | I've been thinking whether to invest is this one or not, and now looks like a good price to buy. I am surprised the price is still faliing though, but isn't the problem that their growth is slowing down. i.e. q3 is only 12% up on q3 last year, compared to year2010 being 35% up on year2009. It's all well and good saying it was because Q3 last year was so brilliant, but either way growth is slowing. PE of around 6 looks quite cheap so long as there is a tiny bit of growth gowing forwards and 12% is a lot more than a tiny bit . Maybe there is something else going on that is making the price fall. Given the low barriers to entry, maybe Apple are making an iboard , or someones spreading the word that the same sort of stuff can be done with a wiimote for about $150 ! | stigskog
29/10/2010 10:03 | Let's hope so. It seems to be overdone by the market. | bsharman3
29/10/2010 10:02 | Many of the newswire quotes have picked out only the negative or cautious elements of the statement, and of course a tender is not a firm contract. The fall does however seem to be have been overdone, maybe traders bought in looking for a quiok profit and panicked to get out. Should stabilise now and gradually return to around pre-statement level. | tuckswood8
29/10/2010 09:31 | what is going on here? The statement was reasonable and the company is growing.. | bsharman3
28/10/2010 13:23 | Div yield now expected to be about 3.5%, should give some support. | wessie |
